I don't understand why people disagreing with you on politics would stop you from posting on political subjects.Big deal :-) You want to vote Libertarian, so do so.You're opinions on politics are as valid as anyone else's, so don't sweat it.At least you won't vote for a Dem ;-)LOL

Palo, I agree with Habs about your posting on political threads...we all have our own political ideas, and can vote for whomever we wish...if people dont like that, then thats too bad for them...If a party doesnt run what you feel is a good candidate, than vote for someone else...and the grumblers can go whine all they want, its your absolute right to vote your conscience....

As you can see I have returned from the grocery store...what a madhouse, and me with a great big list...thought I would be trapped in there forever...but I did console myself by buying four Kalanchoe plants, one in white, pink, yellow, and orange..will put them in the window of my computer room...

And bought 6 dollies as well...Safeway has been having different lines of little dollies in their store, and of course, I gravitate to dollies...as I said before, I am not a doll snob...I will buy an expensive(within reason) doll if I like it, but will also buy cute little cheapie dolls if I like them...

Well, have to go now..I did the shopping...the hubby is unloading the car, but now I have to put all the food away...Booring.....but someones got to do it, and the hubby wont and Dizzy cant, so I guess I have to put the food away...

Ah, this is a drag, real life interfering with my time online...see ya later...

Hi Hair
what I saw was two halves of egg shell open
and gray thing next to it that she was attending to
gray thing was bigger than egg, but if it had been coiled up, could have fit
so I thought it was newly hatched eaglet
chickie just saw hole in egg, and is expecting hatching soon
so maybe what I saw was her feeding first eaglet?
Love, Palo

hi andysmom
I don't mind shopping when I'm in the mood to do it
I don't take a list, so it doesn't feel like a chore
I buy whatever strikes my fancy (altho I usually forget something I need)
(I don't cook, so I have more leeway than you do)
but I don't like puttin' the stuff away
you're right it is easier to do it tho after I have a cigarette and post
it doesn't feel as boring :)
4 swell plants, and 6 lovely dollies is nice!
you did good
Love, Palo

I was leftist then liberal for so long I understand how leftists and liberals think
being conservative is new for me
I understand my own ideas and how I arrived at them
but I don't understand the mindset of my fellow conservatives
I am round peg in square hole
I don't fit in anywhere
it is best for me to be true to myself
as for expressing my ideas, who knows?
Love, Palo

So, you are a square peg? LOL....I read that BB on the AZ page, and gosh, PV, it didn't seem so wacky to me.You talk politics in a very straightforward manner, so just because one or two people don't see eye to eye with you isn't a problem.I was enjoying the postings, found them informative and another outlet for you.No one ever said all the right wingers are the nicest people on the planet( think other threads!! ROFL!), just some of them ;-)smooch!!

To understand conservatives, you need to grasp the mindset. Most are of the 'leave us alone' school, and its a temperement thing.A constant human nature, and rejection of Utopias, and view that the individual is paramount to the group, that collectivism fails both as a remedy to societal ills but also as a chain upon ones' freedom.Learning lessons from the past is part of being right wing, so we are less suspectible to every new "ism" and fad that pretends to discover a new way to alter human nature.I shrug and roll my eyes, and think the Left are idiots. That's a good place to start ;-)

you are honey bunny
it's fun having that Arizona page
other than voting for my friend Kimberly I'm not too into Arizona politics
I loved Francis Barwood (a GOP gal)
but GOP ditched her when she asked at a Phoenix City Council meeting ''what was that thing in sky?''
(when huge UFO went over Phoenix)
I don't see why that branded her as a flake
The GOP asked for her to be recalled from City Council
which had the odd effect of mobilizing all us UFOers in Tucson to be on her side
she's very for gun rights, and wears her 6 gun everywhere
she's utterly sincere
(she's a New Hampshire girl, and they are nice people who love freedom)
it's fun to schmooze on that thread and crack jokes bout the heat tho
the heat here is like rain in westy's neck of the woods
no one from outside would be able to stand it
Love, Palo

So Francis is a character, then?? Can't have them in modern politics, now can we ;-)Did she just ask about an object in the sky or proclaim it a UFO?

You can always change your mind, as your vote isn't cast until you get behind the curtain, plus on a local level, maybe even some GOP's are in line with the libertarians, at least out West.Maybe even on the State level, as well, but not Nationally.

it is the weirdest thing
she didn't see the UFO herself
but she had been getting lots of calls about it
she arrived at city council meeting late
two journalists stopped her in hall and asked if she would find out at city council what it was
so during question time she asked ''how can we find out what it was''
she said there was long dead embarrassed silence
then they went on to nother topic
next day GOP asked for her recall
(I saw it on video, that is what happened)

habs, the UFO was size of football field
it moved very slowly over Phoenix
whoever was outside and looking up saw it
motorists stopped their cars
children chased it down the street
she has a right to try to find out what it is
she does not believe in UFOs
can you believe GOP put out literature saying ''Francis is from Planet x'' lol
