The sun is coming out here, between clouds... the light meter on the camera is having a hard time getting it right and keeping up with it.

The hubby just returned from his shopping trip...bought some things he needed, then stopped off at FishTale Pub, and had a few pints...then he had his 'growler' filled with freshly brewed 'Spring Bock'beer, and stuck that into his already pre-iced down cooler
Then he stopped off at 'Luckys' for some take out broasted chicken and jo-jos...that way I dont have to cook tonite,.....and he brought home two dozen KrispyKreme donuts which he bought from a lady at work...Washington States first KrispyKreme opened up in Issaquah, Washington...which is a bit too far for us to go for donuts...but a lady the hubby works with lives near Issaquah, so she took orders
And so this morning the hubby returned from work with two dozen KrispyKreme donuts...Now I know, the real rush from KrispyKremes comes from getting them hot and fresh right at the bakery...but we heated ours up in the microwave for just a few seconds, put on the coffee pot, and have our yummy breakfast.......
So right now, I am drinking my ice cold 'spring bock' on a tummy that has KrispyKremes in it, and broasted chicken and jo jos for later...And then I am hanging out with the eagles and friends on 'Dimensional Door'....life is so good sometimes...

Yes, it looks lighter now.. Such a pretty pink orchid color tho..

Helga used to be a great snorer also...I believe that Lulu and Helga are kindred spirits...they are so much alike...I cannot wait for the day I see Lulu...I am going to give her lots of petaroos and bunches of kisses, and let her slobber all over me...heavenly...
To: grannie9
that must be the man eagle
he looks stupider but more endearing than she does
To: grannie9;palo verde
Yes, our camera appears to have gotten it together... Now. About that smudge....
I have this continuing urge to keep cleaning my monitor.
To: andysandmikesmom
the day you and Lulu meet
heaven will shower the planet with kisses
this is love
To: HairOfTheDog
Doesn't that smudge aggrivate you? It sure does me.. I want to keep wiping it off. Darn of all times to have a dirty lense..
To: andysandmikesmom
your post makes me happy
we had stressful yesterday
but Krispy Kremes in your tummy, and delicious supper prepared for you
and happy hubby
life is good
Love, Palo
To: grannie9
That, and now the egg is nicely lit by the sun, and the baby is in the shadows, AND IN THE @*&$^&#^ SMUDGE! Argh!
To: HairOfTheDog

To: all

The Ospreys we see here in Fl are quite big too you know.. They remind you of a small Eagle. They build their nests lower to the ground, but they are still high on dead palm trees or the tops of the channel markers in the rivers and bays.. The fleglings are really big when they finally leave the nest.. About as big as the parents.. So these will be too. I'm sure we're going to get some great views before all is said and done..
To: HairOfTheDog
Torment me no more with these technical difficulties! - Maybe they are bringing the camera down to clean it? I wonder if they can raise and lower it for maintenance. - Too much to ask for?
To: grannie9
