Oh, Palo, here's good news if you enjoy wind - there are four or five more days of it predicted. But if Tucson is calm today, perhaps the wind found a different direction to move. Still blowing here and making people cranky!

I'm relieved it is calm today
but I guess if this is scheduled to be year of lotsa change
we'll get lots of wind

that is intense you have 4 or 5 days more of that strong wind predicted
we had it all day yesterday
you could not see the mountains for the dust it raised
it didn't calm down in the afternoon either
but now it is calm

Or........don't birds regurgitate food and then feed new hatchlings the partially digested food? (If any of you are eating, I apologize!) I've watched my pet blue jay do that until the little ones are developed enough to eat real food. Just a thought.

Here are the shots when she was having her temper tantrum a few minutes back... I don't know what this was about!

I had to create a new album for Eagle Cam shots because the first one filled up. I was silly and decided to move all the pictures from today into the new album, which probably broke the all the feeding pictures I posted earlier today. If they no longer work, that is why. If someone didn't see them and wants them reposted I will. Otherwise they will be on the Webshots album in a day or two when Webshots "approves" them. Oops.

HaHa! In the third picture, the baby is sitting up looking like "What the heck is THAT all about?". On another thread, someone mentioned the eagle squawking. Obviously another site. It seems like I've seen an eagle nest mentioned in the midwest somewhere. Anyone know? Of course, we're SEEING the eagle squawking here, I guess.

Yes - calling to him - or bitching at him! ;~D... she has a complaining look about her! Hope who's-it returns soon with some vittles or he is gonna get an earfull!

This thread: Outstanding view of a nesting American Eagle has a link to a live video/audio feed, if you are on cable. The shot is not as close as ours, and I have already bonded with our eagles, so I didn't stay there long. I can't be watching them all!!

I thought it would be bout our eagles
but it was bout eagles in Wisconsin
I tried to look at it but it said I needed real player

I opened the gate and let the horses into the yard, so now I can honestly say I am mowing the lawn. So I feel more productive. The pony seems to spend more time looking in my windows than actually mowing, but some progress is being made.
