I noticed today at juryduty
I left at 10 AM
arrived back home at 4PM
it was my absolute limit
I wanna be sprung after 6 hours

That guy with the one arm, was one of two men I cared for in the nursing home, who had been prisoners at Walla Walla....after they do their time, and get out of prison, if they stay clear of the law, and get aged and need to be taken care of, they will wind up in nursing homes, the same as other folk
I have met wonderful seniors in my nursing home experience, met teachers, doctors, politicians, engineers, farmers, lawyers, ministers, missionaries and the like...but have also met former convicts...no matter what you did in life, if you live long enough, you might wind up in a nursing home...

I forgot I brought my nail polish to juryduty
first thing I did was polish my nails
then at lunch I went to library, took out Perry Mason mysteries
spent afternoon at juryduty eatin' my snacks and reading Perry Mason

I surely would like to be 33 again...even tho the doc said I am in relative good health I do have some problems...knees are full of arthritis, and my bladder has fallen a tad, and I am not the snappy young gal I used to be, at least not in my body...time marches on and it marches on in my body...

That poor dear one, Lulu...I know she was crying because she wanted her food, but she missed you...its so hard for our pets, when those they love are not around
We just cannot explain to them that their human loved one will return...I bet Lulu showered you with kisses...it was so good of Happy to be concerned with his Lulu
That big girl will sleep well tonite, with her mommy home safe and sound, and armed with food...
