Poor Lulu...her poor tummy was probably crying for some Kraft singles, and her mommy was gone, doing her jury duty...well, I am glad she got her chuck steak, and now she feels better...Bad Bill, Bad Boy....he must remember Lulu, when Miss Palo is not around...

I don't think westy and I see eye to eye bout criminal justice
To: habs4ever
Now wouldnt that be something...dad was always putting plaques on things, it would not surprise me to one day find something like that in some sort of an out of the way place...
To: habs4ever
I think westy was a Sheriff in a past life
lawmen tend to be strict I notice
To: andysandmikesmom
habs did have a good idea for you bout writin' Chicago newspaper bout your dad
To: palo verde

Yes, my dad did enjoy life...after he died, and I had to go through his things, he had so many projects set up, ready to be started...more wood carvings to do, more books to read, more places to go and things to do...I mentioned to my son, that he needed more time on earth to finish all his projects.....my son said, "Ma, Pop-Pop had so many things he was interested in and wanted to do, that if he still lived to be 100, he would still have projects left"...
He just believed in living a full life...

Bill thinks Lulu burst into tears because her favorite thing is to sleep
and she can't sleep when her tummy wants food
I guess he didn't want to give Lulu the chuck steak I cooked for dogs
cause she would eat it on carpet (and we just got it cleaned)
To: palo verde
Doesn't LuLu eat it out of your hand anyway??

VagabundosYou might want to check with these folks if you have never been to Baja. I think it is best if you go with a caravan or with someone who has been down there before the first time you venture South. Once you cross the border it's a whole different world down there. Would also suggest you do a little reading and research before hand..Get ahold of a AAA road map if you can. It shows it can be a long way between Baños. I've belonged to the Vags for years....

I have read lotsa books bout what life is like in Heaven
it is not a boring place
I'm sure your dad has millions of projects going on there as we speak

Thanks for that valuable information...I have never been to Mexico, altho my husband has been there many times, tho it was many, many years ago...but I would feel safer, in a group setting, with folks who had an idea of what was going on...so have also bookmarked this site, and will use it for further reference..thanks...
To: habs4ever
Lulu likes to be handfed
but when it is steak with nice bone, she likes to take it to corner of living room (on carpet)
so she can munch it to her heart's content and not worry Happy will want it
To: habs4ever
rofl westy is strict law and order man
if he were sheriff and I broke the law
into the pokey I would go
(altho he'd let me have my puter, and send me wondrous ecards on it)

When I was going through dads things, I found a sheet of paper, that he had put into his diary, separate from his other diary writings...it was a poem, that he wrote himself, describing how he had made his journey through life, and now was contemplating venturing onto the greatest journey of all...the journey of life after death
It was a poem, that he had composed just months before he got sick, and I have often conjectured that he somehow knew he was very ill, and did not have long to live...
But you are right, he seemed to think that his life after death, in heaven, was going to be even more interesting and exciting...

Take LuLu to the bathtub and put in the tub, she will have a nice cushion of clothes to eat from ;-)

Main land Mexico is different than Baja. There are long stretches of nothing in Baja...No people, no gas stations, and this is along Mex1. Let alone side roads, but it is a fasinating place. If you just like to party, fly to Cabo San Lucas, and forget the rest, but Cabo isn't Baja....If you would like my Email addy I can freep it to you...
