I'm getting on, you critter, and maybe a few days of blowing, blustery snow has its obvious charms, but then it's a pain.Too many clothes to wear.Biut I'd hate contanst humidity and 90 degrees in Florida for 12 mos a year.Those pics are dramatic and me thinks you would be at home in the Shining.Red Rum, no doubt ;-)

Habs.. you silly man.. We haven't had any humidity here all winter.. In fact today and yesterday with 90's the humidity is not high at all.. They won't get that bad stuff for another month.. We're getting out of here right in time.. We've had a wonderful winter weather wise. In fact, I'll suffer far worse at home this summer..and am not looking forward to it..

lol habs, you know there is no rust on desert
you can see people drivin' round in pick up trucks from the '40s here
as well as the cars our dad owned when we were little girl
(and the cars we wished our dad bought when we were 10 years old lol)

I've never seen anyone drive with oven mitts they do use steering wheel covers here Whoops! I thought I made it clear I was laughing with AC's joke - heehee haha lol, etc. We're all uptodate and modern, too, and have steering wheel covers and window shades (no joke).

I am still stunned at andysmom posting that eagles come back to same nest every year and add to it
and nest reaches size of a ton

most of the stuff in ac's joke was true tho
of course we do not put on air conditioning to make a fire in winter
desert winter nights are freezing
that's why I spent a fortune to put in heat (and paid a fortune each month in heating bills)
before that we had to build a fire in fireplace every night to be warm
