Hey, jury duty is serious stuff.. What's all this slacker talk on the doors thread.. I thought I was associating with solid citizens here, not a bunch of doofuses...lol...

jury duty is nice for people who go to full time job who want to get out of work
they get paid by their job just as if they were at work
and they have interesting time at juryduty
I don't wanna go
can you believe my friend is having jury trial in two days
for possessing teensy weensy amount of marijuana
most of these cases don't belong in court

Hey westy, whats the weather like up by you...here in Oly, the sky looks threatening, very dark, and there is thunder going on....thunder is usually pretty rare around these parts...I just dont like the looks of that sky...

There is heavy overcast. I havn't heard any thunder.Had a shower come through a bit ago....

All you slackers. How do you expect the country to function if everyone slacks off from doing the unpleasent dutys. Of course duty has went out of style. Wished it had, what 60 years ago. We would all be speaking Japanese or German now. And just maybe a whole lot of dead guys would still be alive....

I would agree, that it looks like one eagle, but its in an odd position....going to check it again...before it gets too dark...

I would like to be on jury duty....but like my hubby, I would have to reveal that I am on anti-depressants under a doctors care, and for some reason, that seems to be a cause for being rejected from jury duty...at least it was for my husband, couple with his sometimes less than perfect hearing problem...they have a whole list of things, I think, that they use to disqualify people from jury duty...

You know, I have been watching that eagle nest for a few minutes, and here is what I think...since I have been watching it for the last few minutes, the eagle you can see has not been moving...and the clock is advancing(Tho, it appears it was not set forward for daylight savings time), so we know the image is live...

I think both eagles are in the nest, and that one eagle is more forward and covering the second eagle...and they have retired for the night, and are sound asleep, which is why they are not moving...at least that is my theory...

I think just one eagle is in the nest. The other white is the tail feathers..And I think I can see the other eagle perched on a limb in the background....

You may be right...I checked back just now, but its really too dark to know for sure....I always worry when I see just one, that something has happened to the other one...I hope they are both safe and sound and looking forward to their new family...

It is one thing to get rejected for duty, of any kind, for legitimate reasons, but it's another to work the system to avoid it, just cause one does not want to do it. If your hubby put in 20 years or so he knows about this I would think. I've read a lot of comments on FR about Clinton. There was one who had no consept of duty, only wanted to satisfy his own desires......

Well, its time for me to get offline, and make myself some dinner...a nice cheese omelette sounds good...tomorrow I have to make the hubby some catfish...I hate catfish, but he loves it...I hate to cook it, but being the good wife, I will just hold my nose and cook the dang stuff...

westy, if it is for criminal court I won't serve
I will not mete out punishment for anyone
but if it is for civil court, I will serve
people turn to Law as last resort for redress
they deserve it
I will do my best
altho suit against FR is harassment suit, that deserves to be thrown out of court
I will do my best in civil court
even clinton, the biggest criminal our country ever had, I never wanted punished
he is only one I would ever have voted to do time
he had so much power to do good, and he used his power just to aggrandize power for himself
I think it would be a learning experience for him
to share plight of unfortunates he could have helped
