All you slackers. How do you expect the country to function if everyone slacks off from doing the unpleasent dutys. Of course duty has went out of style. Wished it had, what 60 years ago. We would all be speaking Japanese or German now. And just maybe a whole lot of dead guys would still be alive....

I would like to be on jury duty....but like my hubby, I would have to reveal that I am on anti-depressants under a doctors care, and for some reason, that seems to be a cause for being rejected from jury duty...at least it was for my husband, couple with his sometimes less than perfect hearing problem...they have a whole list of things, I think, that they use to disqualify people from jury duty...
