just imagine Village people, ABBA, modernized. There is a group in the UK that does that kind of music, but I forget their name. They are huge with kids.

I'd rather not, personally...brings up flashbacks or a very BAD era in music, IMHO. Seriously, though, it looks like a hoot, and again, I wish I had a sound card here at work.
(Buses stop at bus stations. Trains stop at train stations. On my console, there is a work station. Any questions?)

I sit here 8 hours a night and wait for things to either fault out or shut down. For about six more days.

And to think .... they used to not show Elvis from the waist down on television.
My, how things have changed!

From
THIS SITE:
Yatta is defined: Japanese short form for "yarimashita" meaning "did it". When used as an exclamation Yatta! it has the meaning of "I did it!" -From the Anime Encyclopedia. Why is this important? It's the title of a popular song in Japan, performed by six men who wear nothing but (ahem) fig leaf-adorned underwear.
There are some pictures at that site, for those who are broadband-impaired .... but they really don't do justice to it.

The first part of the chorus is a clear rip off of Pachelbel's celebrated Canon in D.
I guess they haven't heard that in Japan.

Ok, the fact that you know that is like making me uncomfortable.....

Page with multiple versions of the Canon Alright, it's not complete plagiarism, but the intervals in the repeated base line are clearly the same:
Tonic -> Dominant -> Submediant -> Mediant -> Subdominant -> Tonic -> Subdominant -> Dominant
This is a popular chord progression that has been copied countless times.

Oh ya... That graduation song from a few years ago copied that BIG time.

Come to think of it. I wrote a loop like that....
here. you have to DL the mp3 to hear it right, the sample distorts it
To: Texaggie79
The resemblance is amazing. That thing is everywhere, and with good reason: it has a very positive feeling.
