BUMP! Thanks you so much! I've been hoping someone would post these. How beautiful, and reaching even higher to the heavens than before!

So so beautiful! Thanks ES ... I wish the beams could remain until new buildings are erected ... did I understand correctly they shine up 20 miles?
WE WILL NEVER FORGET!

Oh so gorgeous and it certainly does make for nice wallpaper. Thanks.

Do you have a better source for the picture? A higher def.? It's a bit fuzzy for wallpaper.

Haunting but beautiful.

I saw it tonight from Eagle Rock - an overlook in NJ - about 15 miles (the way the crow flies).
Because of the moisture in the air , the lights appeared to be diffused into one beam, and it was not as clear as the above pictures, but that didn't stop people from stopping to show their respects. I can't pass that area and view without getting tears.

Thank you so much for such a beautiful picture.
I have never been to NY, will most likely never go, however on Sept 11th, we were all NY'ers.
God forbid we should ever forget.

Wow, that's nice. Do you know if this is available in 1600x1200? I'd like to use it for my desktop.
