I think you are right about the dolls...I love them so much, dont know why, just do...so I did ask my son what he would do with them all, if he never gets married or has any little girls...he just said, ah, thats ok, he will sell them all and grin on his way to the bank

Dolls are one of the most popular collectibles, so my son said once I am gone, he will just place an ad in the papers, open the doors to our house, and let the doll collectors go wild...

Your son is smart. Dolls just sit there and get more valuable as time goes by. They don't deteriorate with weather conditions or any of that - and are so pretty to look at. There are several doll auction houses back east that I have used several times when I wanted money for some other project. When I've tried opening the house, as he suggested, the scam is on - haha. The auction houses do a professional job and you end up with more loooot (I've been listening to an Eartha Kitt record - sorry!).

Thanks for the tip.....I know my son sold all of his old Dungeons and Dragons books and games on ebay....he played that game the whole time he was growing up...he just does not have time for that anymore...so he decided to sell all that stuff, and he was amazed at the prices people would pay for that stuff....he made a lot of money just selling that old Dungeons and dragons stuff...so I guess you are right, auctions produce competition, and that produces higher prices...

I just went to the Eaglecam and one eagle is sitting in the nest, with his big beautiful face, looking straight into the camera...I sure love this site..

So was I just watching the nest...and when the popup came to announce that Westy had come online, that was the exact time the x-second interval occurred and the eagle turned slightly toward the popup. Funny!! Looks a bit windy up there in Washington. I LOVE that cam site!

Westy, you are full of good ideas....as I said before, I am not per se a bird watcher, but watching these big, beautiful eagles has been a joy...and watching falcons would be wonderful as well...

I suspect most everyone is headed to bed. I put my tax files and papers out where I'd be motivated but so far it hasn't worked. I don't like that chore much but, since I'm so caught up on sleep, and the thread may be reduced to your counting the hours off (*G*), I may start organizing the mess tonight.
