I found that out-of-print book immediately on Amazon. Isn't that great? Could have bought it new but I chose the used one for $4.95. Great day in the mornin'!!

The quail come thru several times a day so I feed them, the mourning doves, the sparrows and the occasional hawk that comes in to eat the quail.........groan.

Good morning all....snowing again, here in Western Washington....nuts...who needs this cold and snow, with Easter so near....tho, I should stop whining...the snow now sooner hits the ground than it melts....it just looks so disturbing outside...

Thanks for the tip Palo, about making sure that Dizzy does not wind up in some sort of pirate stew....he has been secured, safely in his bed...it would be nice for Lulu and Happy, and Fred and Dizzy to meet one another, but not in some sort of stew

St Pats day, yesterday, was a big success....plenty of bagpipe music, lots of green grog, some snappy vittles(which hopefully did not include someones pet), and needless to say, we were sloppy and sloshed...

and I flew out of there
then Bill and I went swimmin', to the mall, and out to lunch in Thai restaurant around the corner
the waitress told us three Diamondbacks players had lunch there yesterday
and Bill was thrilled out of his mind
her description was ''short, heavy, good looking''
so Bill thinks it is the catcher
Bill says catchers are short
she said an older one had a mustache
Bill thinks maybe that was the manager
