You are shocked as well?

It all started when I was a kid. Remember those old type of fuses - the round ones that screwed in? Never - ever - never - stand on a washing machine after getting out of a shower - and touch one. I thought I had discovered levitation. Can the human body can produce sparks and flames? It sure felt like it ;o)

hi chickita
I see you came back up the hobbit hole
good
hair of the dog is such a charming poster
I thought we lost you to the hobbits
hi hair of the dog
I see we have an unusual situation
your hobbit hole is right next to our et site
if a pirate gal gets fed up with us
she can disappear down your hobbit hole
and we won't see her again
that durned chickita expects us to handle her with kid gloves

Good morning again... I have done my housework, and I'm loose. Ooops, just noticed the China cabinet windows.. Will catch them later... Is anyone playing a certain toon, or is this a free-for-all?

I would be scared to get him examined - if he found out he really doesn't have a brain it might scare him (but it certainly would explain a few things). If I broach the subject it might be the wife that wants to get my head x-rayed.

Ya'll sure do have fun in here. I LMAO just reading, if I actually understood half your inside jokes I'd probably be a candidate for the mental ward. As a therapist ;o)

hi 4cj
not so many inside jokes that I can see
grannie and ac are out there all on their own
scrambled eggs means sex, cause I confided in thread one
that before I met my hubby, when I was young and wild and it was the '60s
I slept with everyone
and the only thing I really enjoyed was when the guy would cook scrambled eggs for me the next morning
they cooked the eggs in an interesting way
ac's posts to grannie used to be so highfalutin' that none of us understood one word
I remembered that tour jetes and first positions were terms from my ballet class
but westy never took ballet and was lost

Probably no boating today... We are power washing the driveway now... (That's not an all inclusive we) Think it's a clean around the house and lay in the pool kind of day.. In other words...it's my day off...

rofl I don't know much bout electricity
when I lived in tenement in Manhattan, when fuse blew I had to find someone who could get into the carpet store down below
go thru hatch door on floor and change fuse for my apt
here in Tucson, I guess we have circuit breakers
when I do something which causes everything to go off
I flip all the switches and eventually it comes back on

I took this one from Mo1 - I know she wouldn't mind.

Every morning, Bill Clinton would take a jog near his home in NY State.

And on each run, he happened to jog past a hooker standing on the same street corner, day after day.

Apprehensive, he would brace himself as he approached her for what was most certainly about to follow.

"Fifty dollars!" she would shout from the curb. "No. Five dollars!" fired back Clinton.

This ritual between the ex-prez and the hooker continued for several days.

He'd run by. She'd holler, "Fifty dollars" He'd yell back, "Five dollars!

One day, Hillary decided that she wanted to accompany her husband on his jog.

As the jogging couple neared the now infamous street corner, Bill suddenly realized the "pro" would bark her $50 offer for all to hear(including Hillary) and he would have to come up with a very good explanation for his wife, the junior Senator.

As they jogged into the turn that would take them past her, Bill became overcome with anxiety on how to handle the situation.

Sure enough there she was, standing where she always did. Bill tried to evade the streetwalker's eyes as she looked up at the jogging executives.

Then from the sidewalk, she yelled to Bill: "See what you get for five bucks?

That's a great joke!! LOL.Oh Cap'n, how come Grannie is so darn ornery these days? Is it lack of remuneration? Could it be the heat? She needs rest, I'm afraid, a long rest, in a quiet room, in an isolated ward, in a secluded hospital....
