A nation in decline does not correct itself by accident. What you are reading is the product of years of quiet work by people who refused to stay inside the stable of group-think: researchers, memers, prayer warriors, and ordinary citizens who left the old media matrix, compared notes, and kept a watch. President Trump has long said public awakening is central to the change he described. The Great Awakening ('Freedom of Thought’), was designed and created not only as a backchannel to the public (away from the longstanding ‘mind’ control of the corrupt & heavily biased media) to endure future events through transparency and regeneration of individual thought (breaking the chains of ‘group-think’), but, more importantly, aid in the construction of a vehicle (a ‘ship’) that provides the scattered (‘free thinkers’) with a ‘starter’ new social-networking platform which allows for freedom of thought, expression, and patriotism or national pride (the feeling of love, devotion and sense of attachment to a homeland and alliance with other citizens who share the same sentiment).
When ‘non-dogmatic’ information becomes FREE & TRANSPARENT it becomes a threat to those who attempt to control the narrative and/or the stable.
When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.
You are not alone and you are not in the minority.
Difficult truths will soon see the light of day.

Remember, the Dems were adamant for months that Trump was going to claim there was foreign interference in the election, declare an emergency, send federal agents to confiscate ballots/tabulation machines, and try to “steal” the election.
That scenario is still very much alive. The ODNI finish their post-election assessment within the next 45 days, and DOJ/DHS finish their follow-up impact report within 45 days after the ODNI assessment.
If the Trump admin were to find that foreign actors had any impact on the election, the evidence found by the Trump DOJ/DHS/ODNI can be used in federal lawsuits to contest the results of these elections, and/or bring charges against those who committed the fraud. All of this would fit in with the scenario the Dems have been warning about.
Trump and his DOJ/DHS made it VERY clear they were watching the election, and that they were going to prosecute election/voter fraud.
I’m not so sure the 2026 election story is completely written.

I know you’re right. My bridge partner in Buffalo became much more engaged politically a few years ago and now works with the Republican Committee in his town. He canvassed hard to get out the R vote and got the same feedback from the potential voters that you’ve just given.

On Nov 1, Trump posted pic of himself/Elvis. On Nov 1, 1969, Elvis’ single “Suspicious Minds” reached #1 on the charts. Key phrase in the song “caught in a trap”.
The point: Fear not. Trump plan still in operation. DS going down.
This is like 2020 all over again. Looks bad, but a purpose to it.
Why do we have to suffer through this? Because there are so many stupid people in the world who react emotionally instead of thinking logically. “You can’t tell them. You have to show them.”

Don’t get me wrong - the Iran war was also a factor, especially when Trump claimed to have a deal on more than one occasion.
I think the only deal that the jihadis recognize is total annihilation. They can’t be trusted, and will practice taqiyya to advance their cause. They recognize death and usually embrace it if it means killing others that are not adherents to their teachings.

I'd write a vanity on the election -- it's been awhile since I've written one, but I have a work project to wrap up.
Key points / Cliff's Notes:
1) What happened to the Data Republican warnings on a color revolution?
2) What happened to all the MSM outlets (led by PBS) the night before the election, that "if a race is to close to call going into the evening, that's normal, and ifthe candidate ahead when counting stops for the night *cough* the Republican *cough* loses his lead overhight, that's no hint of cheating
3) WHy is the White House so calm? This is not like The Donald, normally he'd be tweetig (X'ing?) up a storm.
4) What he *has* said:
"I can work with the Democrats on immigration"
"The won't impeach me, that would destroy the Democrat Party"
and discuss the implications of them
5) The relative lack of infighting and finger-pointing
a) Thune says "we will not lie down during a Dem majority"
(he can't do anything once the Dems nuke the fillibuster)
b) Just a few of the influencers trying to deflect from Israel, and a bit of v skirmishing over Hegseth, mostly via rumors, except Massey

11) Look for the power struggles in the DEM Party as the DSA / Islamists try to take control from the aging out Socialists. And possibly for overshoot -- but will the left put things in place to assure the steal in 2028 and the consequent destruction of the US?
