‘No Kings’ protesters spurn organizers' rules: ‘This is as partisan as you can get’

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — On South Washington Street, 26-year-old environmental engineer Nayely Cruz Hernandez had a straightforward message for voters as she joined a phalanx of protesters lining the street for nationwide "No Kings" protests against President Donald Trump: "Vote blue."

"We got to take the power away from Trump, from the Republicans," Hernandez told Fox News Digital. "So we got to win the House, we got to win the Senate, not only in Virginia, but across the country."

Standing beside her boyfriend, Noah Schwarzott, 25, their 13-year-old Maltese-poodle, Maybellene, in her arms, Hernandez acknowledged that national No Kings organizers had their own rules for the protests to be "nonpartisan," but she wasn't following orders.

"The No King ... organizers can say whatever," she said. "But I'm saying vote blue, because why are we here? Who's in the House? Who's in the Senate? Who is the President? It's red, it's Republicans, and it's Trump."

A Fox News Digital investigation documented about 300 organizations with $2.5 billion in combined annual revenues behind the "No Kings" protest network, including Democratic-aligned advocacy groups, major labor unions and nonprofits including MoveOn, the American Federation of Teachers and the ACLU.

Cruz Hernandez ended by introducing Maybellene and declaring that the dog was "telling you to vote for Don Beyer," a Democratic member of Congress who represents Alexandria, Arlington and other Northern Virginia communities.

Convince the powers that be at FR to type this into google: “ how do you disable a submit button and change its appearance after it is clicked”.

This can be done instantly on the client side, it doesn’t matter if the server or network is slow.

As it is, users see absolutely no feedback that their submit button did anything. If they have screen protectors they reflexively keephitting submit. Bad FR website coding. (Sorry, tough love)

If they can’t do that they could put a reminder on the “reply” page, “Note: submit may take up to N seconds, do not click Submit twice.

Nope USAID funds are drying up. There was a group in front of the universal what ever church. I yelled, “we settled that in 1776”.

Won’t these knothead liberal lady protesters look nice in burkas someday as their 9-year-old granddaughter is taken as a bride by an aged grey-bearded muslim hack?

The reason for the no king rallies this time is to get eyeballs into the voting boost. If they get half of them all over the country into the voting booth for early voting, that would be horrible for us.

Yes, I think those no kings rallies are stupid. But to use it as early voting process is a great thing for that party.

They also have souls to the polls.

Republicans never do anything to get people in the voting booths. I never can understand that we have the biggest mega churches full of Republicans and we can’t even get them to set aside a Sunday to go vote after church.

Why are we lazy as a party?

Good.
One protester to the next one: “Uh, what did he mean by 1776. Did something important happen then?” “Dunno.”
