In a just country, that man would get a free house and free beers for life, in addition to the keys to the city. He risked everything to save those children, and he was forced to take a life to do it.
Krantz said that officers were called to the school just before 1 p.m. on a 911 call from a person who said they had been shot at several times while in their vehicle by a suspect with a long gun. Emergency dispatchers then received dozens of 911 calls that the suspect had entered the school.
The shooter forced his way into the school by 'shooting at locked doors,' Krantz said.
When officers arrived at the school within three minutes of the first 911 call, they discovered that the suspect had been killed by a bystander, Krantz said.
[Fifth-grade teacher Kathy Sheil] Smith and her students were ultimately rescued from being killed by a Good Samaritan who spotted the teenager and followed him into the building, shooting him dead shortly after he began his rampage.
Dispatch audio suggested the hero was the father of a student at the school, with 'It looks like the shooter has been neutralized, possibly shot by a father at the school' picked up by multiple news outlets.
Even if the man was not a father of a student, that man is peak father material, because that is what good dads do.
You know another thing good dads do?
Ignore tyrannical laws that prevent them from protecting the innocent.
There's now speculation that this based dad could find himself drawing the ire of the leftist DAs for being a hero who ignored the same rules as the shooter (because criminals don't obey gun laws!).

What a sad story. I know a couple in Bend who have raised their teens to believe they are the opposite sex. The heartbreaking part is when he was a teenager in my neighborhood, he would have been the one to save this school. He married a gender confused leftist mentally ill girl and lost every ounce of common sense trying to keep the crazy hag happy.

I was not too surprised at the number of media outlets whose initial take on the thing amounted to “we don’t know yet if the man who defended the kids did so legally.” Are you freaking KIDDING?
Look for him to be pilloried for violating the gun free zone. Gov. Kotex will bleat that no one is above the law.
