President Trump said Friday he had granted approval for “tiny cars” to be built in the United States, a move that would expand the availability of similar smaller vehicles that are popular in Asia.
“I have just approved TINY CARS to be built in America. Manufacturers have long wanted to do this, just like they are so successfully built in other countries,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “They can be propelled by gasoline, electric, or hybrid.
“These cars of the very near future are inexpensive, safe, fuel efficient and, quite simply, AMAZING!!! START BUILDING THEM NOW!”

Kei cars are one thing but we need TCR and WRC sized cars for sale and made here by the Big Two. WRC is in Chattanooga next year.
They want us to be forced to take it in when the extras, we didn’t want, go bad so they can say “ it not covered under warranty”. You bought the extended warranty, oh it doesn’t cover that either.
I was going up to my mom’s place and hit a bump.
The next morning the troopers show up and said I was a hit and run. They told me I ran over a smart can, hell I thought I hit a coon🤣
Yeah, it’s an arms race.
Most monster trucks don’t carry much more than momma’s groceries or a lawyer’s briefcase.
But real good at killing the occupants of normal sedans.

It doesn't look very "inexpensive". But I found a pic of one that I wouldn't mind having.... if affordable. Only question is... what make is it?
I thought driving in Honduras was an adventure (5 lanes of traffic on a 2 lane road, doing a U-turn on a boulevard and then driving back down the sidewalk against traffic for the last 100 meters to our hotel, etc.). But traffic in Lahore (Pakistan) took things to a whole other level. Like when the guy bringing a load of produce into the city of 14 million on a donkey cart decides he needs to cut across 6 lanes of traffic on the highway, which was filled with every imaginable vehicle.
ah, but did you see any accidents?
No, and that was the crazy thing. In general they drive pretty slow and keep their heads on a swivel. But most vehicles were a bit banged up, so they were making contact with one another at some point.
People would complain and whine if President Trump was promoting Hot Rod Lincolns!
“They arrested me and they put me in jail.
And called my pappy to throw my bail.
And he said, ‘Son, you’re gonna’ drive me to drinkin’
If you don’t stop drivin’ that Hot...Rod...Lincoln!’”
LOL! Coming to a highway near you...with an illegal in the shotgun seat! ;)
LOL...no kidding!
They complain about AF1. They complain about the new WH helipad.
There will never be another Rush...including that fake & phony "not-next-rush" who continues to abuse FR to pimp his personal website.
If we had tiny self-driving cars made of non-ferrous material and designed to be easily repaired at home,
What we need are gasoline powered muscle cars.

Beautiful!!
“Town cars only.”
That would cut out a lot of sales for them. Many places in the country are controlled by freeway traffic. The entire left coast is one. If you don’t have freeway capacity in all the major cities like San Francisco, LA/San Diego, Tacoma/Seattle and Portland you absolutely cannot live there if you don’t drive freeways. Other majors are Atlanta, Houston, Phoenix/Touson, Boston, San Antonio, Kansas City, and Chicago, Tampa/St.Pete, and Orlando. They’re all over.
We live in a world on wheels anymore and the states most times have determined that a freeway, along with majpor roads, is the best way to move traffic. So the dealers won’t be selling these in these types of places and it will cost them. It’ll clobber their bottom line.

A second car.
They’re cheap.
