After decades of climbing the executive ranks at US companies, more men of Indian descent are now entering the boardroom. A record 16 Indian men joined S&P 500 boards this year, taking directorships at companies including Walmart Inc., Southwest Airlines Co. and Western Digital Corp., according to ISS-Corporate and data provider Equilar. Only White men and women added more seats.
The surge caps a longer shift. The share of Indian men among directors at Fortune 500 and S&P 500 companies has tripled since 2018, outpacing increases for women, Black and Hispanic directors, according to data from James Drury Partners.
The boardroom gains come as companies put increased emphasis on directors with chief executive officer or operating experience - credentials that many Indian business leaders have accumulated after decades in the US, according to recruiters and the executives themselves. Of the 184 Indian men on Fortune 500 and S&P 500 boards, 77 per cent have operating, or so-called profit-and-loss, backgrounds, the James Drury data show. Roughly two-thirds have held CEO roles.

It appears there is a pecking order and they give money or gifts to their betters.
I have worked in a larger company with these H-1Bs that got hired internally, after being tried as “consultants.” One became my “team lead.” He demanded all emails to management go through him to email onward. I, and others on my team, did so. He then represented the work AS HIS OWN, to everyone. When my 360 review came up, my manager asked me which people in management he could send a request to to review me, and I told him that for the first time in my life, I have absolutely no records or emails where I could say something substantial was ever talked with anyone in management.
This Indian fraud also wined and dined managers at his house, for a couple years.
He got promoted, then his new team gave him terrible ratings and said he never did anything. That is what I, and others on my team had dealt with, too.
A year later, he had all employees removed from his care and he just directly reported to the next in management.
He should have been fired. He was retained because his history looked “productive” and he helped “the numbers.”
Another Indian, a former H-1B, was my manager, later. I actually volunteered to go over to him, as he needed “help.” I went, and the first year was so-so, then the next his own lack of management skills really showed up. He didn’t do all sorts of work his boss requested of his peer managers, then found ways to blame ME for his inadequacies. I had said, in multiple team meetings, that we needed to do multiple things and these could only be done by him or others in management. He was SO lazy! He got another on my team to work to screw me over. It almost became lawsuit stuff. There was no proof to his lies and his own boss finally agreed with me, but only after some damage had already been done, by him.
He had promised a promotion to the jerk who “helped” him against me, but that person never got it.
However, I do know some Indians, former H-1Bs, who do know their stuff, and a few who I would even call great friends, even like family.
Indians are fine. It’s the communists, socialists, DEI hires, and woke liberal idiots that you should be worried about.

China is similar - although to a far lesser degree. The Chinese communists destroyed the worst aspects of their old caste/regional/religious/racial prejudices, favoritism and local social and patronage networks.
In India, that never happened and it's all off the charts. These CEOs want to hire people they know, and who they can CONTROL. Many have a quiet grudge against American whites, and they disrespect American blacks.

I’ve actually taken him aside and told him the behavior is a discussion point on the board, and he understood. I don’t think it’s anything malicious; it’s people he knew and liked from other companies — who are naturally people like himself.

I’ve seen exactly this happen many times over the last 15 - 20 years. First at the M1 level, then M2, then Director and VP - to the point that my department is now 80% Indian. To the overall detriment of the company. 95% of them can’t solve a problem they weren’t taught to solve in school. Zero, and I mean ZERO, ability to come up with novel solutions and think outside the box.
I’m glad I’m close to retirement.

Indians can be fine in India
They have a terrible culture and their religion is demonic. They can stay in their own country instead of getting imported into the West because our leaders hate Americans.
This is absolutely true. I know from first-hand experience over the past 20+ years.
