Coming to America.
Commercial contract truck drivers can’t afford to fill up their tanks. They have a 3-day “strike” scheduled for October 1st, but they probably won’t be able to make it that long. Farmers are already going to leave their drought-stricken crops in the fields because it’s not worth it at 50-bushells an acre.
Mass starvation is already unavoidable.
We are in economic free-fall, and nobody sees the sudden stop up ahead.
It might work. Strategies like that have been successful thought history. Some of the times anyway.
I am having some doubts. The Iranians are ruthless and have several millennia of experience at suppressing internal rebellions and dissenters from assorted ethnic groups in that country. It is a part of Iranian culture. It is how Iranians expect any government to work and it does not matter who is running the government.
America does not have the ruthless characteristics or experience that Iran has. We are relative amateurs at the real game, going up against an experienced professional team.
The Iranian government has held up under siege far longer than our military planners and political leaders expected. I believe the IRCG still has a lot more capability to hold out than we expect.
And Iran has allies. (Russia, China). American has no useful allies in this war. Worse yet, we have treacherous internal factions who not only oppose the war but actively want America to lose the war.
Magic 8-ball says: "Outcome uncertain. Ask again later"
oh right, we believe an iranian bot...
Average earnings of Americans are much higher than in Iran. Sure when I traveled abroad (more than 55 countries), food is usually cheaper than in US, but US dollar buys more food there than locals can afford.
Example, I was visiting Mumbai and invited all my relatives to dinner at a good restaurant called Copper-kettle. There were uniformed waiters and great ambiance. There were 15 people in our party. I told everyone to order whatever they really like. When the bill came it was passed around quickly to me. In local currency the bill was more than monthly income of any of my relatives. For me, it was about $100 including tips (1984 prices). The same type of menu in US would have cost $300-400.
I had to research this...now do how much 15 cents us is in Iranian hours worked. Hint: it’s like $37 in the USA.
This kind of propaganda is what one gets in wartime.
Are all the Iranians wearing diapers like Putin was said to be wearing the other year in that Ukraine War propaganda.
Not a day goes by I don’t read that China is in bad shape is going down has economic problems I smell lies.

You should move to Iran. Go tonite.
Indeed one would be hard pressed just to buy a paper cup for coffee for 15 cents.
