But you’re right about the diesel fuel price problem. Almost everything is affected by that price, one way or another.
The highest average price ever was back in 2022 when Biden was president. The 2026 average prices are perhaps a dime or so less. So it’s close.
Now here’s the thing. The average American voter doesn’t care that Biden still has the record. He does care about the pain he’s feeling today. The GOP leadership doesn’t seem to get that.

Where, Cali? Here in south central TN it has been very dry since latter July, very wet for two months previous, leaving the soil very able to support a crop over 2/3 way to maturity. Most crops are mature here, and being harvested at record or near record BPA. I know because I’ve hauling corn and soybeans to the bins for a farmer. Corn so dry, practically no LP gas is being used to dry corn.
The midwest cornbelt has got a record corn crop I hear, soybeans probably as well. They have had more than ample rainfail.
But the fake news media is doing its job, as usual.
I don’t see farmers in Michigan doing that, we got adequate rain here.

The crops overall in the US are good. Some tough areas in Kansas with wheat, but very good in the Midwest assuming the rain stops
