I doubt that very much. The National Guard or the Army would step in first.

But you’re right about the diesel fuel price problem. Almost everything is affected by that price, one way or another.

The highest average price ever was back in 2022 when Biden was president. The 2026 average prices are perhaps a dime or so less. So it’s close.

Now here’s the thing. The average American voter doesn’t care that Biden still has the record. He does care about the pain he’s feeling today. The GOP leadership doesn’t seem to get that.

Farmers are already leaving crops in their drought-ravaged fields because it now costs more to harvest 50-bushel an acre crops than they are worth.
