The Republican nominee for Texas Railroad Commissioner was criticized after a series of posts on X Sunday targeting a diverse group of students at the Texas football game. Bo French shared a photo of students of South Asian descent cheering for the Longhorns after their Saturday night win over Ohio State and wrote that “social media is exposing how many Americans have been displaced by foreigners.”
In another post sharing the same photo French wrote: “I heard UT graduation this year looked like this. I didn’t believe it. The problem is now obviously far worse than anyone imagined.

To gain automatic admission to the University of Texas, matter your gender, race, or ethnicity, you got to be in the top five percent of your senior class.
My son was in the top ten percent of a high performing high school, and Bevo told him no way.
The kids from his school who did get into UT, all had not just better grades, but in almost all cases, perfect grades.
“Hey, they care about football so I’m okay.”
It does look like assimilation.
“They were White Christians from Western Countries.”

The children of my Italian immigrant relatives fought in the U.S. military....Air Corps, Navy, Army, Coast Guard, etc. in World War II.
Some of them were wounded.
They went on to be businessmen, teachers, architects, engineers, etc. after the war.
The media is going to railroad this guy.
Look at all the finalists in the National Spelling Bee. Indians and Asians....
I know some Christian refugees of Lebanese and Armenian descent — some the immigrants themselves, some their children, born in the U.S. — who are here because they got jihaded out of their home countries.
They are very patriotic Americans in the way so many Jewish immigrants from the early years of the 20th century (fleeing pogroms) through the post-WWII period (fleeing the Nazis and/or uprooted by the war or the Holocaust) were patriotic, seeing the U.S. as the great defender of liberty in the world today.
I know a number of S.E. Asian immigrants who were part of the diaspora after the Vietnam War. This includes a man who was one of the boat people; he was then a boy and one of the survivors when their boat drifted too close to a North Vietnamese held island and was machine gunned before they drifted out of range into the darkness. The survivors drifted for a month, surviving on whatever fish they could catch, until they were picked up by a passing freighter. And I know a woman, now in her 60’s, who is alive today because her father rushed home one day, told his wife to grab the kids and whatever food they could carry, and head into the jungle, staying off the roads, and try to get to Thailand. They were in Cambodia. Her father had been summoned to a meeting. In retrospect, he shouldn’t have gone; he had some education. He was never seen again.
I hope you aren’t telling me that people like this should be kicked out of the U.S. because they are of non-European origin or their skin color is different from yours.
The immigration problem is mass migration by economic immigrants who are gaming the system, aided and abetted by democrats who want to import a servile voting base and establish a permanent electoral majority.
We need to be able to distinguish between genuine refugees fleeing persecution, people who come to the U.S. with the skills to contribute to a modern economy, and people who immigrate with the intention of assimilating and becoming good Americans — versus the low skill/no skill folks who immediately go on welfare and the new wave of invaders more interested in conquest than assimilation. And we need to be sensitive to total numbers; we don’t want to balkanize the country.
The democrats think balkanization is a good strategy for grievance politics based on racial resentment, and they want population replacement to create a socialist permanent majority.
We play into their hands if we get mousetrapped into imposing a narrow racial test on immigration. Woke white leftists are as bad as anything we’re importing, and the universities are mass producing them.
Im not going to support White replacement just because they are good for the “economy”
If we only let in small amount of non westerners and we actually indoctrinated them to American culture that would be different but we don’t do that.
Those criticizing Mr. French are cutting their own throats. Let me tell you a little story.

Just FYI - the RR Commish overseas oil and gas, but not the actual railroad, in Texas.

He had the exact same opportunities as the students who ranked ahead of him, and he simply did not perform well enough.
That is on him. It is not the responsibility of his high school, nor is it the fault of the students who ranked above him.
Of the students who ranked ahead of him, most were female, and they earned those grades through their own academic performance.
Since I cannot afford to send my kid to Super Millionaire University, I am not particularly concerned about that one example. However, nepotism, regardless of who is responsible or who benefits from it, can undermine the mission and credibility of an institution of higher learning, whether it occurred years ago or as recently as yesterday.
As for the demographics of academia, walk into a university library at 11:00 p.m. on a Friday night and take note of who is there, heads buried in books or focused on a computer screen rather than social media. Then walk into a college bar and take note of who is there drinking the night away.
There is a reward for that level of dedication to academic study.
Is studying at the state’s flagship university and attending a nationally televised college football game part of American culture?
Takes a bit more than that for me to support replacing White Christians in Western nations.
A lot of older white people have a hard time seeing racism in other races.
Of course non Americans are so much smarter and hard working ! It’s why everyone wants to move to China and India
