An enraged Wisconsin parent was cited for tripping a 9-year-old football player during a youth league game when he became “upset over a play,” as the child’s coach declared it the “most cowardly act I’ve ever seen.
Shocking footage captured the dad, who was supporting the Milwaukee Colts, taking matters into his own hands when he made the drastic intervention against the Case Eagles in Racine, Wisc., on Saturday, CBS58 reported.
The Eagles football player, wearing No. 88, was rushing to score a touchdown when the rogue adult extended his left leg and tripped the athlete.
The boy and adult both tumbled to the ground as officials halted the game’s play.
Channing Schultz, the Eagles head coach, said the boy was okay but was infuriated by what unfolded on the field.
“I was filled with anger, it was disgusting,” he told CBS. “It was the most cowardly act I’ve ever seen. For him to just do it with so much intent and he was committed. No words can fix that at all.”
Mount Pleasant police said the suspect, identified as a 41-year-old man, walked out onto the field when he “became upset over a play.”
He fled the field, but police issued a citation for disorderly conduct after he admitted to his actions during a traffic stop.

Not sure why it’s ‘disorderly conduct’ instead of assault. He basically kicked the kid in the knee while he was running.

Back in the ‘70s & ‘80s I had quite a few black friends and acquaintances. They were all cool and for the most part, levelheaded, as was any teenager/young adult. I haven’t kept in touch with them, but today’s blacks are total azzholes.

95% of the young football players are black. Other races are too much into loss prevention of their children.

This person ( not a man) needs to face serious consequences or the black community will continue to be uncivilized. Id say a 1500 fine given to.the football league and 100 hours of community service along with his kids being visited by cps.

It was a different time, when most coaches served during WWII. And Hayes was a solid conservative who loved this country, and taught an American History class at OSU, and took that as seriously as his football coaching.
I won’t let one unfortunate incident like that define Woody.
PS, I grew up a huge Michigan fan and despised OSU and Hayes back then. (Well the OSU part hasn’t changed, LOL!)
Woody waited until the play was over to punch the interceptor of the pass. Although he should have punched his own quarterback for throwing it right over the center.< /s>
