What has happened to FR? People are advocating for President Trump's removal, making sarcastic remarks, Saying the TRump era is over. President Trump has righted the economy, ended Iran's nuclear weapons threat and is the greatest President since Reagan. He deserves better than this. He already has the RINOS in Congress against him, he needs his base fired up and ready to vote! THe RATS are highly motivated to steal this election. Have some courage and get behind out President!

Yes. If there truly TRULY is a threat of Iran obtaining and using nuclear weapons as the President and others are claiming, a threat to humanity itself, I wouldn't worry at all about how that continent feels about us or how they produce their oil.

If I've decided to fight, to send our troops into harms way, I'm fighting to win. If the premise is "do this or New York and Tel Aviv can get nuked", then I'm doing whatever it takes. In my opinion you can't use nuclear obliteration to justify action, and then not take action because you're worried about how others will perceive us.

I do not envy the responsibility a President carries when making decisions on war and peace. I understand there are ramifications that go way beyond what I can consider or comprehend. But announcing Iran's complete defeat, followed by negotiations that you claim are going great that THEY claim aren't even happening. By saying you have a deal followed by them saying we don't. By making threats then backing off to allow more time for talks over and over again. Just the back and forth, we will, we won't, over and over. Either let's go in and do the job, or let's go home.

I think he's bungled this. Maybe it's him, maybe it's Hegseth, maybe it's someone else. Are we at war with these guys or aren't we? At this point, I really don't know.

I agree that if it comes to that, we should do it, but I think he is trying to thread the needle so he won't have to push it that far.

I agree, but I think we've set them back on their heels enough that a risk of an attack from them has been eliminated for the time being.

But now is the time to make certain that they can't come back in 4 years and start this sh*t up again. But we have time before Trump leaves office. If he shuts down the war now, we won't be able to start it back up again. The political pressure will be too great to allow it to resume.

Fortunately, I-ran's nuke program has been repeatedly set back, either by kinetic actions, weak sanctions or internal economic conditions. Otherwise, Israel would already be largely destroyed, also with the possibility of expanding nuclear detonations.
