It sounds almost impossible to believe, but when you look at the evidence you realize it is a real possibility. Never put anything past the enviro nut cultists.

If these people win the next two elections, they will use the force of government to destroy what's remaining of the beef industry. How many on our side will sit at home and allow this and many other horrible things to happen?

“Funny how other countries aren’t having these so called ‘cattle shortages’.”

The Netherlands, pretty much the farming capital of Europe, is in the process of shutting down their huge beef industry also.

I suspect the real problem is that people (who pay attention) are wising up and finally realizing that the reason humans love meat, particularly beef, particularly Fatty Beef, is that it is the HEALTHIEST food we can buy. We are programmed to looked for and prioritize HEALTHY food, or we would have joined other pre-humans and died out.

Bad weather is certainly part of the problem, plus ever tighter restrictions on land use. But the body blow was the COVID restrictions that disrupted a carefully balanced supply chain in an industry where most participants survived on thin margins.

Now we're just seeing the fallout from the steady erosion of production and distribution, even with record high beef prices.

Sell everything to the Chicoms is a lazy business plan. Lots of corporate agribusiness is caught in that loop rather than invest in their, alleged, domestic market.

Yeah, Trump hasn’t done anything to make your life easier. Did you take the $32,000 Standard Deduction?

“ Clinton territory.....they got him started in politics.”

I have not bought a single Tyson’s food item ever since Clinton first ran for Office. He is a despicable man, though not an America hater like got later with Obama.

I might get flamed, but the price of beef isn’t really an issue for me. I usually buy the ground sirloin or extra lean. It runs around $10 a pound. I can get 3 or 4 burgers depending on how feel about eating. I use to be able chow down on more than half a pound of burgers without a blink of the eye.

Just an anecdotal story but I belong to Sam’s Club so that every 5 or 6 weeks I can go buy a couple of chuck rolls. I’ve been doing this for a pretty good while. All of sudden they have been out of stock for over 2 weeks.

Delicious extra lean ground beef at Aldi, advertised as being from the USA, is delicious and less than $10 a pound.

Oh, another inflation lover, huh? It seems he is more concerned about making as much money as he can for himself and his family as long as he can get away with the scamming. Many other deals, too. Like telling people to "buy Dell" just after he bought Dell.

.

Play "I'd like to thank the Dell family, "Buy Dell"

instead of complaining, we should be following his index.

the assumption is there is insider trading but that isn’t true.

My impression of John Lovell is that he has a man who is telling him all about the business. Lovell however has an agenda

Lovell is hell bent to make his guest blame the beef price increase on the government. Lovell is politicizing the message in spite of the excellent information his guest is delivering

The video is absolutely excellent as long as you listen to the guest and disregard the propaganda efforts of Lovell

The herd hasnt grown to size because it is not profitable to do so.

If I raise one for slaughter and it costs 1500 to get it from birth to market, and I make 3000, there is 1500 profit.

If I raise two and it costs 1500 each from birth to market, and I get 4500 for both of them, I made 1500. Absolutely zero reason to deal with an additional one.

There is a monopoly on meat in the us where something like 85-90% 9f the cattle are owned by 5 mega corporations.

Same with processing plants that the FDA has put hard burdens on, making it hard for a smaller ranch to process.

You do realize Dell is funding the Trump fund for kids. Look up to see how many billions they have contributed, but you are in stage 4 TDS so who cares.
