A Milwaukee County judge has sentenced a 28-year-old woman to 24 years in prison for setting a fire that killed her boyfriend's elderly neighbor last year. Rashamba Claybrooks was sentenced this month for her role in the fatal April 2025 apartment fire near 30th and Capitol that left 71-year-old Sam Nash dead after he was found unconscious inside his unit.

Why only 28 years? Why not hang her immediately after found unmistakably the cause of arson and murder of inhabitants..

Regularly given this 28-year (less when given probation, free housing and free meals while incarcerated), many other borderline illogical emotion-driven will do the same; maybe even copycats.

Justly given death sentences will stall a lot,(but not all) of such miscresnts when they can expect to die because of their behavior.
