Senator Mitch McConnell was discharged from the rehab center and said he will continue his recovery at home.
McConnell was hospitalized on June 14 after he was found unconscious at his DC home.
“Earlier today, I was discharged from the rehabilitation center to continue my recovery at home. Elaine and I are grateful for the many well wishes and support from friends, colleagues, and Kentuckians, and for the attentive care I’ve received from excellent doctors, nurses, therapists, and hospital staff," McConnell said in a statement.
“On the advice of my doctors, I’ll maintain an intensive regimen of physical therapy from home during the state work period, and I’ll continue to engage with my staff and colleagues on important Senate business,” McConnell said.

Last month McConnell posted a photo of himself smiling in a rehab bed next to his wife, Elaine Chao amid a 2-month absence.
The latest photo was dated Sunday, July 26.

Now I wonder if some are in a contest to outdo each other with their snark.
And since the target is Mitch McConnell, and Mitch McConnell is hated on Free Republic, that too will encourage even more snarky commentary.

I don’t know about that. I’ve been waiting for McConnell’s replacement for 20+ years. Seems to me he’s already had a few peaceful years that weren’t due him.
The forgiveness isn’t for their sake, it’s for yours. So whether they ask for it or not is irrelevant to forgiveness. It’s relevant to reconciliation, perhaps, but not forgiveness.

Stay out of political office at this point. Go for walks. Tend to the garden. Spend time with your grand or great-grandchildren. Read some good books.
