Senator Mitch McConnell was discharged from the rehab center and said he will continue his recovery at home.
McConnell was hospitalized on June 14 after he was found unconscious at his DC home.
“Earlier today, I was discharged from the rehabilitation center to continue my recovery at home. Elaine and I are grateful for the many well wishes and support from friends, colleagues, and Kentuckians, and for the attentive care I’ve received from excellent doctors, nurses, therapists, and hospital staff," McConnell said in a statement.
“On the advice of my doctors, I’ll maintain an intensive regimen of physical therapy from home during the state work period, and I’ll continue to engage with my staff and colleagues on important Senate business,” McConnell said.

Last month McConnell posted a photo of himself smiling in a rehab bed next to his wife, Elaine Chao amid a 2-month absence.
The latest photo was dated Sunday, July 26.
No rush Mitch …. Congress is only in session for three weeks out of the next thirteen weeks. What a joke.

This country is where it’s at right now. BECAUSE we were too kind.
McConnell had a lot of opportunities to help move this agenda forward and he chose to Stonewall it, and then he insured further stonewalling when he elevated Thune.
I’m no spring chicken either, but I don’t wanna see my grandchildren, living under communism or any other deviant leftist dystopian fantasy because people like McConnell were too stupid, arrogant, or compromised to stop the slide.
The time for being kind and playing nice is long past.
