Its not an ‘inheritance’. There’s no automatic right to it.
Like a monarchy.
Meet the new queen.
Same as the old Queen.
2) She's running for the seat, not looking to have it handed to her.
Oh, this is great! She can vote for the new amnesty farm bill just like Lindy would have, she can vote against the SAVE act, just like Lindy would have. If we are really lucky they can get in come gun control before the session ends, and maybe a new draft, too. The sky is the limit!
Article I, Section 9, Clause 8:
No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.
The Articles of Confederation4 and many Revolutionary-era state constitutions contained prohibitions of titles of nobility and other systems of hereditary privilege.
“Lady Graham”
Does this mean she’ll be a tiresome regular on Hannity like Lindsey Graham and Lincoln-head Levin?
At least Lindsey ain’t coming back after she’s done, unlike George.
‘Hereditary’: that’s the word I was looking for, thank you.
Tim Scott, another McConnell acolyte, who Hannity regularly causes me to tune out Hannity.
"I don't like it!"
Tim Scott is a worthless RINO.
Love that name: Lurleen...
She’s not vetted on any of these issues and there is literally weeks to the election....
I hope SC voters look at Mark Lynch as a saner choice
Not that that will stop him or her or they/them as the case may be from continuing this silly argument. You've pretty much nuked this thread. Again, well played. š š š š.
“Iām old enough to remember Lurleen Wallace.”
Me too.
Wasn’t the Dingle’s like this also? He died and she stepped in?
Trump Golden Endorsement (whether a blundering move or not) + fragmentation of the conservative primary vote between Norman, Fry & Lynch (I’d prefer Lynch or Norman) + maybe even Paula Evette jumping into the race (?) = Lindsey’s sister wins the primary but MAY need a runoff.
Democrats are pouring a fortune into “Doctor Annie” but then they poured a fortune into their dim-bulb boy 6 years ago too — about $150 million that we know of, in tiny South Carolina — and it wasn’t even close against Lindsey when the votes were counted.
She *should* win in November after her anointing in the primary (voters be damned) and hopefully she will make a good Senator. We, and South Carolina, could definitely do better though.
You better believe it. I’m sick of being represented by someone or something that is loyal to an enemy of justice. Let Ralph Norman replace him/her.
Darline Graham will have a community college named after her?
True. I have a problem with dynastic rule. Usually on the demoncrat side. The Kennedy's come to mind. There are other examples of dem wives being appointed/annointed/elected when their decrepit husbands went out feet first from office.
As for Graham's sister being appointed? Don't care.
I'm amazed that he went to his grave without ever coming out of the closet. No more blackmail by the commies.
Only time will tell, but it doesn’t sound good on the surface.
