Safe Return is a memorial in Bellingham, Washington, for the commercial fishermen who have lost their lives at sea. It was erected at a public ceremony in 1999, six years after four fishermen died in the sinking of Lady of Good Voyage in the Bering Strait.
The statue is holding a rope because - and I'll say this VERY SLOWLY for the liberal women in the back - because sailors have to throw mooring lines to dock on the shore (hence the name SAFE RETURN).
Fortunately, this woke balloonhead - Cara Munoz - got arrested for her trouble.

According to the Bellingham Police Department activity log, officers responded to a report of malicious mischief at the park around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 12.
The Port of Bellingham later shared photos on social media showing graffiti splattered on the Safe Return statue, also known as the Fisherman's Memorial.

The Port said its maintenance team has been working to restore the statue. They also confirmed that Bellingham Police have made an arrest in the case.

It looks like she was charged with resisting arrest, assault, and malicious mischief.
You might think Cara is just a garden-variety homeless lunatic, but she is actually a registered nurse who has also worked with AI startups.

As a public service, people should be aware of where this deranged lady works as a nurse. She should never be trusted. Also a formal complaint should be made to the State Board that licences nurses in that state. However being Washington and the fact that Democratic prosecutors will never convict her, she will likely keep her license.
This is not an isolated case of one defective individual. This is the logical output of an entire cultural operating system that has spent the last thirty years telling women they are simultaneously the most oppressed and the most enlightened creatures on the planet. The result is a subspecies that believes any reminder of male competence, male risk, or male sacrifice is an existential threat that must be neutralized with graffiti. They cannot build anything. They cannot sail anything. They cannot face the water or the weather or the possibility that some jobs still require actual balls. So they settle for defacing the monuments of men who could. and when the cops show up they fold like a cheap lawn chair and hide in their cars.
Had something similar on Face book a few years back over a “loop” on a garage door. I posted it was a loop and nothing more. I also showed how a REAL hangman’s knot was made. When I posted, I was immediately placed in 30 days of FB jail.
