It is an unchallengeable dogma of our post-9/11 civic faith that every Muslim in the United States, from the leaders of national Muslim organizations to the rank-and-file believers in the serried ranks of worshipers at mosques around the country, is a “moderate.” Everyone assumes that Muslims in the U.S. all reject terrorism and violence as a twisting and hijacking of their peaceful faith, and that only racist, bigoted “Islamophobes” would dare suggest that the gentle soul in the next cubicle at work or who runs the store down the street could possibly harbor anything but love for his non-Muslim neighbors.
And so what, then, does the imam Ragab Abdelmoneim, who recently called for Muslims in the United States to be willing to sacrifice their blood for the sake of Allah, have in mind?
Ragab Abdelmoneim is not some wild-eyed fanatic screaming obscenities on a streetcorner. On the contrary, he is a prominent, respected member of the Muslim community in the U.S. today. Alabama’s 1819 News reported recently that he is “now the Imam and ‘Resident Scholar’ at the Islamic Center of Maryland.” An Alabama publication is reporting on him because before he moved to Maryland, he served as an imam at the Islamic Academy in Huntsville, Ala., and was also a “part-time lecturer at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH).”
In Huntsville, Abdelmoneim was the Islamic Academy’s “first full-time imam,” and he was an excellent choice for this distinction, as he has an impeccable educational background. He “began his religious career as a cleric at the Liverpool Islamic Academy in 2009. In 2013, after teaching and graduating from Al Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt, Abdelmoneim relocated to the academy in Huntsville.”
To graduate from Al-Azhar is like graduating from Harvard, Yale, and Princeton.

The American people deserve better than this. From World War I on my dad, fought in the ditches of France for world, peace, and protection from tyrants and evil. Now here we are having to endure this kind of crap in our country? Where are our statesman? this man should be removed from our country along with many of his fellow believers. I repeat the American people deserve better than this.

I understand that as an immigrant or refugee that public education funds will not be available for any children of mine until after age 18 except for schooling in public schools staffed by a school district run under state law having open enrollment.
I understand that attendance in public schools is compulsory and that no avoidance of the teaching of now current Western values will be allowed.
I understand that I and the children who reside in my household must dress in appropriate western fashion while in public spaces.

A “CLEANSING OF AMERICA” IS WAAAAAAY OVERDUE.
I sort of agree with you. Examples of Historical "Religions" that we would not allow in The U.S. because they engage in criminality; Now defunct Thugee (Human sacrifice...strangling people to death and robbing them.) The Mayan, Azetec, and Incan religions; They all practiced Human Sacrifice, some on a large scale. The Druids also practiced human sacrifice in burning people to death.
I think we should start making a point that people Who kill a bunch of non islamic people and justify it as Jihad, by stating Allie Akbar afterwards, etc, are sacrificing other human beings, Non Muslim humans, for the purpose of obtaining a better reward in the Islamic Afterlife. Their religion grants individuals agency to do this. (And of course just blames on a sudden case of the Crazies, wink, wink.)
The article says that graduating from Al-Azhar is like graduating from Harvard, Yale, or Princeton. This says something about obout one of these of these schools that, in my estimation, is not so good. Do the American schools of higher education highlight Islam? I should hope not! Either that or Abdelmoneim missed something very important in his own education. There should be something vitally different at the American schools & the one for Islam that this fellow was educated at. It would seem to me that possibly one of these mentioned schools is failing in an important area.
Shouldn’t this Trash be deported for making threats to murder Americans
