Man arrested on suspicion of murder: What we know so far
We've just heard from Devon and Cornwall Police, who said a 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after Anne Widdecombe's death.
Assistant Chief Constable Matt Longman spoke to the media at the force's Exeter HQ.
Here are the key things we learnt:
A 26-year-old white British male has been arrested on suspicion of murder
It is "too early to say" if the suspect was known to Widdecombe
There is "no evidence at this time" to suggest this is a politically-motivated crime and it is not being treated as a terror incident
The suspect - who was arrested at an address in Newton Abbot, Devon - remains in custody
There is no known ongoing risk.

They tend to be easily triggered and hold grudges.

Also, Keir Starmer said: it's important to "rise above any political differences." Did he say that because he knows her death was politically motivated? I hope police will report a motive, because I'm damn tired of them saying they have no idea what the perp's motive was.
