Did he think he was making a romantic comedy?
I find this hard to believe.
Good. Put your money where your mouth is and refuse to accept any royalties.
Hammer must be “posturing” for the Woke Crowd.
Won’t do him a bit of good - he did too many things that needed to be done in the movie, and the wokies will hold it against him..
Vigilante had less violence than the Death Wish series.
Man up pussy. Go to Minnesota and get a tampon.
I guess the whole lecture in the car to the judge thing was a surprise when he saw it in the final cut.
Ditto with the family hit scene.
Gimme a break.
The cannibal is trying to make up with his fellow freaks.
Did he return his paycheck?
He waits until now to denounce the movie? Why didn’t he walk away when he read the script, particularly the muzzie family scene?
No, just desperate. Came from money, very handsome, reasonably talented. He threw it all away because “pervert” was part of the mix. Now he can add “coward.” He must have been extremely desperate to take this role; the extreme blowback was as foreseeable as the sun rising tomorrow. Now he’ll be box office poison again
I would guess he cashed the checks promptly.
He is trying to weasel out of responsibility for his own choices. It's a stupid move. He would have done better to ride the wave of notoriety (and infamy) the movie gave him. Absolutely nobody will invite him to any parties now. Or cast him in any other movies.
He won't even be doing cat food commercials.
What a weasel.
Maybe his new boyfriend is angry with him for it, and he is trying to make amends.
Says the cannibal.
Pickup up your check and close the door.
Really? I was thinking more like "lame" and "stupid". But hey, to each his own I guess.
He must be some sort of idiot. I guess “The Purge” wasn’t disgusting because those on his side were murdering indescriminately?
