The Great Awakening ('Freedom of Thought’), was designed and created not only as a backchannel to the public (away from the longstanding ‘mind’ control of the corrupt & heavily biased media) to endure future events through transparency and regeneration of individual thought (breaking the chains of ‘group-think’), but, more importantly, aid in the construction of a vehicle (a ‘ship’) that provides the scattered (‘free thinkers’) with a ‘starter’ new social-networking platform which allows for freedom of thought, expression, and patriotism or national pride (the feeling of love, devotion and sense of attachment to a homeland and alliance with other citizens who share the same sentiment).
When ‘non-dogmatic’ information becomes FREE & TRANSPARENT it becomes a threat to those who attempt to control the narrative and/or the stable.
When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.

Good night to everyone - too late for my usual nightly routine.

I was born and grew up on the East Side, know this well.
The regulators are ridiculous about such things - specific trees being saved.
On the electrical code side of things, some very new regulations hit me with my new home.
first was the new rule on outlets on kitchen islands. Seems that virtually ALL kitchens these days have an island, some with the sink, some just for serving, some with a cooktop. But the latest NEC requirement states that there can be no outlets below counter level, so the familiar outlets at the ends of the island can no longer be put in when a house is built. Only “pop-up” or other above-counter level outlets are permissible.
BUT - they do have to have wiring installed into an electrical box so that some sort of future outlets can be added (which I’ve already done on my Island). And homeowners are at liberty to install outlets to their hearts content if they do it properly or find an electrician that will do it for them.
Anyway, the thinking is that someone’s unsupervised youth decided to pull on a cord that was coming from a crock pot to the side outlet on the end of the countertop and pulled the hot food down onto their self, resulting in injury. So, instead of properly blaming the parent or guardian for not policing their kid, they changed the rules to prevent people from plugging appliances in below counter level. By eliminating such outlets from being installed in new homes.
Of course, without outlets, the value of the kitchen island as a serving center drops immensely and people will do what they will do - on Super Bowl Sunday, when 20 people are there to watch the game on their 65 inch flat screen TV, people will drape extension cords from the kitchen counter to the island to keep all that food warm for their guests. (and maybe wisely stop allowing kids in their home)
Second rule change - after many decades of firefighters and utilities being able to use the electric meter as a means of shutting off power to a house - which is a time-tested and safe practice - new code requires that a means of disconnecting power be installed on the outside of the house so that the namby-pamby utility and firefighters of today (probably DEI hires) can trip off the breaker or switch before pulling the meter. You know, just in case. Even though there is NOT any danger, in a regular single-phase residential service, of pulling the meter to shut off power. I’ve done it dozens of times myself in my earlier years. (large commercial 3-phase services are a different story, though many are served using instrument transformers so pulling the meter wouldn’t cut power to the facility).
Anyway, builders, while honoring the code, decided that the main breaker for the house can now go outside instead at the top of the main panel inside the house. Meaning that if you want to do electrical work in your main panel, you can do it “hot” or go outside and open the main breaker. Which would suck in the winter with 2 feet of snow on the ground. And it sucks even more because there are 2 ways to get to the main breaker. Either break the utility’s seal and pull the meter cover off first to allow opening the hinged cover to the breaker, OR remove 4 screws to remove the hinges themselves to pull the cover off the main breaker. Very much a pain in the summer, and even worse if the weather is nasty and you need to get to the main breaker to either do work or reset it after it tripped for some reason.
So with just these 2 latest over-regulation moves, the national electric code has become more of a nuisance than it already was, what with the GFI and Arc-flash protection breakers (that cost 8-10 times what ordinary circuit breakers cost and are often quite temperamental) you need in your panel because little Johnny stuck a fork in the outlet and got shocked.
In the meantime, there are no regulations for having homes with built-in tornado shelters or other actual useful features, and builders seem to be getting away with using flimsy truss systems for roofing instead of sturdier structural designs. And NOTHING is built to last for 100+ years any more.

He’s said a couple of things that make me think the subject is completely avoided at work. Two of the men were days from layoff and they had a wife, children and a home and didn’t have the savings to withstand a lengthy layoff. They were definitely coerced into the jabs and remain bitter about both that, and that my son was unencumbered enough to do what they truly wanted to do. They wrongly assumed that he could afford to take his position because Mommy would be supporting him. Nothing could have been further from the truth. He relied on his savings and depleted a large chunk of it and I was only able to give cash as a gift for his March birthday and Easter that year. He was raised to be independent and as self-sufficient as a man should be. I’ve had only holidays and a wedding to be of any financial assistance to him.
I was glad the union fought to get him his job back. The CEO was let go a year later but I don’t know if it had anything to do with the jab mandate he introduced. Nor have I heard that any of the 13 jabbed on the crew have suffered any ill effects from them. It could be too soon to say given the design of the intended harms - long term with plausible deniability.
Your family was within 15-20 minutes of me. It’s lovely there. I haven’t been in the old plant or tunnel, though I pass it often.
Oh no. That’s concerning news. I feel nothing but sorrow for the hundreds of millions or billions of people who could not wrap their heads around the idea that their governments and health authorities would ever do anything to deliberately hurt them.
