Three, this would trigger some level of violence.....deservedly.
It’s amazing they have no actual power in any of the three branches of government right now, and yet are threatening to do these things and yet people will STILL vote for them. On the flip side, Republicans (yet again) have all three branches of government, and are led around by the nose of the radical leftists about defunding ICE and too timid to stack the courts and abolish the filibuster. It’s like Thune and Johnson are working for the Dems already.

Killing the filibuster would be fairly easy. Granting Puerto Rico statehood would just require a majority vote in both houses and the President’s approval. Packing the Court is possible but it’s important to remember that even FDR failed at doing it.
Eliminating the Electoral College would require passing an Amendment most importantly getting 3/4ths of the states to ratify.
D.C. statehood has all kinds of Constitutional problems. The 23rd Amendment would have to be repealed as well as the parts of the Constitution that directs that the District be controlled by the Federal government.
The whole point of the District is that the Federal government could not be held hostage by a hostile state government. Reducing the official district to a few Federal buildings won’t work. State police waiting on the sidewalk ready to arrest government officials and employees the now 99% democrat state government doesn’t like.
They will get nowhere with Trump still in office to veto everything. And then there will be another election in 2028 which, if they actually try this crap in the meantime, should be a democrat bloodbath. Talk is cheap among the out-of-power kibitzers.
No need to speculate. That is exactly what they tried after the successful Biden coup in 2020. Two of their own Senators refused to goosestep in formation. They also tried to Nationalize elections, even though the Filibuster was still in effect. Ted Cruz stopped a late night effort at unanimous consent.
The invasion they engineered didn't just let them in, it bribed the World's worst of the worst to fly in!

Trump is missing an opportunity here. On Monday announce he is expanding the Supreme Court to 14 justices. Submit a list of five new nominees to Congress for approval. Get some popcorn and sit and enjoy a few days of the leftholes and mediawhores foam at the mouth as they spew their hypocritical rage. Then next week, say fine. You’re right. Let’s keep it at 9. Then introduce the proposed 28th amendment that says that Supreme Court stays at nine justices.
The default position for much of the citizenry is to believe the Democrats and doubt the Republicans.
