Just find an excuse to make a post then grab the URL of the Image. I do it all the time after the AT&T monopoly on Hotspots ruined being able to easily post things from my own server.

Adding Static Images

In many cases, you’ll want to include static images that have fixed sizes. This is useful for simple web pages where the layout is constant across all devices. Let’s take a look at a basic example.

Syntax:

<img src="image_path" alt="image_description" width="40%">

Where:

Example: This example shows the use of static images.  When posting on FR you do not need the other webpage elements defined, such as <html> and <body> because you're already within a webpage.

<img src="https://media.geeksforgeeks.org/wp-content/uploads/20240911162743/GeeksforGeeks-Logo.png" alt="GFG logo" width="40%">

Output:

GFG logo

Use this as shown: IMG SRC=post image link here

Find a picture online and and select Copy Image Link i.e. Example:

IMG SRC=https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fimg.freepik.com%2Fpremium-photo%2Fstars-stripes-american-woman-with-usa-flag_841543-40155.jpg&f=1&nofb=1&ipt=641909bbecb8f91b847e05394457aee24c035bbbb95b90c9fbe150c9e1ffaaec

Immediately before "I" in IMG and put this character < and then this character > immediately after the image link

There's some differing links to copy and paste. See which one works for what you want. It give the html right there.

This is just me... I use hostinger.com for Web Hosting. They have very good specials at various times of the year, although it always looks like they are having some type of sale. I just upload whatever picture I want to post to one my dummy sites and then copy the image address from that.

It sounds like a pain, but it is actually very easy.
