We will camp our way slowly up to WA, stopping along the way to say goodbye to friends. We will end up camped outside of Seattle somewhere. As soon as the house sells, we will start looking for the new place.

In 1984 we sold everything in Michigan and moved west, no jobs waiting, no nothing, 3 kids. Headed to CA but ended up here in Vegas and everything has worked out ok.

Ok course we had lived in a subdivision back there where everyone had to outdo everyone else. We always been content and thankful with what we have.

Michigan weather helped make our decision also.

Good luck in wet and lefty Seattle, the dark side as we call it on the otherside of the Cascades. Might I recommend Sequim on the Penisula for a more pleasant experience. They call it the banana belt compared to the I5 corridor.

Take a look at the Olympic Peninsula side of the Sound. The general area around Bremerton is a lot lower pressure than the Seattle side——

Moving is a big deal - just completed a move last July. After 4 or 5 months of decluttering, moving trailer loads of stuff into storage, tossing a bunch of stuff, donating, selling - all in preparation to sell the previous home. Which did sell.

Best of luck on the move and please don’t be a stranger. Your posts will be missed while you’re unplugged.

I have a son stationed on the Reagan in Bremerton getting ready for sea trials in August - it's a very nice area. My grandfather was from Poulsbo so know the area fairly well.
