"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.

The Republican National Committee is escalating its election integrity war ahead of the 2026 midterms. RNC Chairman Joe Gruters announced that Republicans have already launched 130 lawsuits across 32 states aimed at blocking Democrat efforts to “cheat every single day” in U.S. elections.
The announcement comes as President Donald Trump recently vowed to unleash a much larger “Election Integrity Army” than the one Republicans used in 2024, signaling that the GOP is preparing for an all-out legal and ground-game fight over ballot security, vote counting, and election procedures in battleground states.
Gruters laid it all out in no uncertain terms, exposing exactly what the Democrats are up to during an interview on Fox News:

One thing we have to keep in mind is if we announce what form of cheating we are going after they will still do that one but may key in on other ways.And there are many. I don't know if Pratt can manage running a major city but he probably can do no worse than Karen Bass. The worst part is that the voters suck it all up. I always see, in my mind's eye, the woman who found Newsom on the street and tried to challenge him about some failure. Newsom waved his phone and insisted that he was talking to the president about that very problem.
The woman said, 'I know you are doing the best that you can' and walked away. Imagine a politician that brazen of a liar and people just shrug and move on. Gavin 'the Hutt' is a master at such deception, and some women almost swoon that he even talked to them. 🤷

There have been persistent rumors that industry insiders are bracing for a widespread shortage of motor oil. Are these rumors accurate? I decided that I was going to investigate this and discover the truth.
Unfortunately, I have very bad news. Multiple sources within the industry are confirming that we are facing much higher prices and physical shortages of certain products if the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened soon.
According to Axios, supply chains for lighter-viscosity synthetic oils are particularly vulnerable, and one industry insider is warning that “actual shortages are starting to appear”...
Industry groups and analysts say lighter-viscosity synthetic oils — including 0W-8, 0W-16 and certain 0W-20 grades commonly used in newer vehicles — are most vulnerable to disruption.
“Actual shortages are starting to appear” for some synthetic oil products, Amanda Hay, global lead for base oils at ICIS, told Axios, adding that “security of supply is the chief concern for industry players.”
What we are experiencing now is the leading edge of this crisis.
An internal memo that was apparently meant for AutoZone stores in the Southeast region got leaked to the public, and it is causing a great deal of concern...
Over the past week, reports about looming motor oil shortages have started popping up from multiple directions. The most pointed of them surfaced today, when a person posted what looks like an internal memo to the Southeast region of AutoZone stores.
In the memo, the writer says, “Realistic, middle-of-the-road estimates are for our average available supply in this product category [lubricating fluids] to drop by 40%.” That figure continues to pop up, and it basically means one thing. Oil changes, transmission fluid changes, really anything that lubricates your car is about to get more expensive. We reached out to AutoZone for comment, but haven’t received a reply at the time of writing.
So far, AutoZone has not confirmed or denied that the memo is real or not.

OBSERVATION - I noted the reports of forecast motor oil shortages several days ago and since then the subject has gained some greater interest. Dependent on supply lines, it makes sense that fuel shortages will have accompanying motor oil and other petroleum based product shortages as well. Axios is a source of that needs to be held at arms length at times, but they are not the only ones reporting this.
Either get your oil changes done now, or expect to go longer until the next one comes due.
