Karen Bass in trouble after ‘downright devastating’ new poll ahead of LA mayoral primary

With just over two months until the mayoral primary, a majority of Los Angeles voters are fed up with Mayor Karen Bass, according to a new poll described as “downright devastating.”

The incumbent still leads the pack, albeit with just 25% of voter support — but roughly 25% of Angelenos are still undecided, according to a Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies/Los Angeles Times poll.

Meanwhile, ultra-left City Councilwoman Nithya Raman and reality TV personality Spencer Pratt are gaining on Bass, garnering 17% and 15% of voter support, respectively, the poll shows.

More concerning for Bass is her unfavorable rating among voters. A majority — 56% of likely voters — view the mayor negatively, while just 13% say they have no opinion.

“These are very discouraging, if not downright devastating, poll numbers for Karen Bass,” Dan Schnur, a political communications lecturer at USC and UC Berkeley, told ABC7.

“She’s running ahead of her opponents only because they are not very well known. That she’s having this much trouble against such a little-known field bodes very, very poorly for her.

“The only thing saving her at this point is that top-tier candidates who were considering running decided to stay out of the race.”

Many in LA are insane and integrity-free. This should provide those of us who are fortunate to not live there with ongoing entertainment and laughs.

“The people of Los Angeles will fix the problem by making it worse.”

sounds like it ... every time NYC elected a terrible mayor, everyone thought the next one couldn’t be worse ... they were wrong: every subsequent mayor has been worse than the previous one ...

No. Giuliani was an improvement over David Dinkins.

I’d vote for Spencer Pratt if I lived in LA. Hated him back in the day when he was on The Hills, but over the years he’s proven himself to have smarts and common sense. He would be miles better for LA then Bass, but of course the idiots in LA will probably vote for the ultra leftist Indian broad.

Oh well when she loses she’ll have more time to go back to Cuba for her vacations and see her old comrades.

Democrats have to burn down entire cities and steal the land before they’re removed?
