Former First Lady Michelle Obama has advice for young women starting their careers: Don’t try to dismantle a broken system until you have clout that commands authority. Sadly, that means waiting until you’re older and established in your career to make those changes.
Her new book chronicles the evolution of her personal style as First Lady and after leaving the White House. Specifically, the book delves into how fashion played a key role in establishing Obama’s credibility—a rubric all professional women are judged by, sadly. In her talk with Cooper, Obama reflected on how fashion choices are more consequential for professional women than men—both for career advancement and personal safety. It’s a complication that men never think about, but women always have to be mindful of the subliminal messages their clothing might be sending, she said.
“We have to think a lot more. To strike that balance and to be thoughtful about what messages we’re sending, giving, receiving—men don’t do that,” Obama said. “My husband wasn’t doing that.”(snip)
Obama sighed and acknowledged that “life is full of compromises” and “you’ve got to pick and choose your battles.” She said young women in the workplace, especially at their first job, “have less leverage than I do as the former First Lady to wear what you want and have this empowerment.” Especially if they “have student loans to pay,” she said.

fashion? You’ve got to be kidding!
“We have to think a lot more. To strike that balance and to be thoughtful about what messages we’re sending, giving, receiving—men don’t do that,” Obama said. “My husband wasn’t doing that.” So the magic one wasn’t all that magic Michelle?
The tuck and roll.
“Boob belts.”
Everything she got was because of AA and tax paying men.
So girls... Be black. Get on the AA train. Marry a gay black liberal you hate, complain all the time, collect money from tax payers and men. This woman has never accomplished a thing on her own, yet she is the most slobbered over and worshipped useless people. She has the life that no royalty in history has ever had and all she can do is bitch about the nation that GAVE (not earned) it all to her.
Aunt Zatuti and her staff cared for the kids. Looked how miserable those two looked travelling or in any picture. And compare that to how they look away off in college.
My thoughts too.
Big Mike’s Ten Steps to a Richer You:
1. Be born into corrupt Chicago wealth.
2. Achieve recognition through affirmative action.
3. Latch on to an upwardly mobile homosexual male.
4. Acquire no-show jobs at extremely high salaries.
5. Never explain how you lost your law license.
6. Be a really buff beard.
7. Hide your testicles and penis.
8. Have a full press court, and a full court press.
9. [mysterious actions]
10. Profit!!
Grifting?
How to get the media to sing your praises when you are mediocre, mean, and full of hate and spite?
“Her sense of style? Spare me.”
Yes. They can learn they should not walk around with a belligerant scowl on their face .
Barf alert! In other words y’all too young and stoopid to change stuff. Like you a 960 score type.
I thought I’d rebut a point or two, but holey moley, I don’t have all day! So wrong in so many ways.
How to fix your hair so you look like Mickey Mouse?
“I evolved from being a narcissistic shrew to being an absolute bitch.”
Hmmm, let’s see...
1. How to bitch and moan
2. How to complain nonstop about your country and your husband
3. How to scowl
4. How to claim to be an oppressed minority when you are in the very tippy-top of the elite.
MARRYING OBAMA WAS SMART???
I’ll make it easy: nothing.
Laughs of the day! Thanks.
