When it comes to the queer bar in the wild, so many threats exist, and it's only gotten worse in the past few years. Higher upfront costs combined with lower foot traffic have caused a nationwide problem for the service and food industries, which is exacerbated in queer spaces, which deal with smaller demographics than the average bar or restaurant. And of course, there’s the fact that many people, especially younger people, just don’t go out or have a third space anymore.

Neighborhood bars around me are just about extinct. A lot of towns have stopped or restricted approval of liquor licenses outside of their business district. They come up with rules about proximity to a school or crap like that. Well, almost every neighborhood has a school. Most new restaurants around me are restricted to beer and wine.
I’m surprised that it took until post 44 for that Seinfeld famous quote/scene.
Transitioning to Sharia Law.
Can anyone here explain this?
Nope, it's irrational behavior. By definition, something irrational cannot be explained or defended, and it is a total waste of time trying to understand it.
Younger people both heterosexual and homosexual are not drinking as much booze as the previous generations.
My son and his girlfriend really do not drink alcohol. The last time they had any alcohol was a glass of champagne on New Years.
Hip Hip Hoorah!!!
I'm with you on that. But that's thinking logically. I didn't get it until I re-read Romans 1 and saw it spiritually.
(My summary)
v. 16-17 -- Not ashamed of the Gospel for in the Gospel the righteousness of God is revealed.
v. 18-23 -- In culture it became "smart" to deny the existence of God even though His presence and work are plain as day.
v. 24-25 -- So God gave them over to sexual sin hoping it'd be a wake-up call, but they reveled in their sin instead of being ashamed of it.
v. 26-27 -- So God gave them over to homo sin, but they reveled in that too.
v. 28-31 -- So God gave them up to tons of other sins, normalizing murder and gossip, etc.
v. 32 -- And they're still doing those things.
My notes: Perhaps by "still doing" Paul was talking about his present time. He may have been talking about the fall of the Greco-Roman culture since this was written to the church in Rome. Or he may have been talking about the Jewish culture, since many of the first Christians (i.e. the Christians in Rome who would read this letter) were Jews. Or he may have been talking about the global population.
Whatever it is, our western world repeated this at least twice. Once was centuries ago after the Enlightenment period had atheists hijack it to make it chic to deny God or at least make God distant (deism). That led to the first sexual revolution, including normalizing homosexuality enough for gays to openly hold hands walking in London. We got out of that with the First and Second Great Awakenings (not ashamed of the Gospel).
Since then we've had a new "enlightenment", especially in the early 20th century (a century ago last year was the Scopes "monkey" trial) and atheism or at least agnosticism is back in vogue (verses 18-23) especially among the left. So we've had the sexual revolution again (verses 24-25) including the homo part (verses 26-27) and the left is promoting both of those. And even normalizing aborting our own kids and letting murderers go without bail (verses 28-31) and don't seem to be letting up on any of them (verse 32).
“They’re only closing the front doors. The back ones are still wide open.”
You win post of the day!
ROFL!
Gay men are ALL about sex - as often as possible, with as many others as possible, without consequences
That can now be had on-line much faster than going to a bar
Everything else about “gay community” and “safe meeting spaces” is just bullshit slogans to feed to the normies.
It’s pretty much all the odd numbered rules.
“No poofters!”
The author looks like a poofter!
There’s a vaxx for that.
They were funny
Oh that's how it is. Sure sure likely story. You can tell the boys all about it down at the station where you'll find friends enough to cozy up to.

If I find a bump patting you down it better be a gun in yer pocket, or you'll get the stick you won't like. Researching...
I haven’t had pay t.v. for over 15 years now so I’m not privy to what goes on there. But I’ll see a t.v. set on in some public settings and what I see would have been considered highly criminal porn 30 years ago. The “gay” HIV medications ads are horrific.
They got what they wanted and now can go into any bar that they want and no one will say anything. Kind of like the dog that chased the car. What are they going to do now that it caught it.
Gay bars are how aids got spread around the world.
“Always was a dork.”
Yep.
I was just kidding you. I actually DID read the articles in men’s magazines, and many now-famous authors had stories in them as well. But I hope you have a good anti-virus program and Malwarebytes while clicking around...cyber-condoms and digital penicillin.
Those HIV ads on TV taught me that many gay black men wear their hair braided up on top of their heads as a signal to other homosexuals. Now I can avoid them without seeming rude.
