“In the Indian Ocean—an American submarine sunk an Iranian warship, that thought it was safe in international waters.Instead, it was sunk by a torpedo—Quiet Death.
The first sinking of an enemy ship by a torpedo since World War 2. Like in that war—back when we were still the War Department—we are fighting to win."
Yes, I was biting my tongue...uh...keyboard....
Cool!
I think "sank an Iranian warship" would've been correct. But either way, she gone.
Hope we gave them the option....not like they could snrak away. We should have made the lede that communication exchange. We sound like bullies this way like we shot a fish in a barrel with such life lost.
We are BIG. BE BIGGER. Mean, but bigger. The whole ICE minnesota looked ‘smaller’.
Trumps “I just got him first” was perfect “mean but BIGGER”, as necessary.

The USS Cole bombing occurred on October 12, 2000, when the U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG-67) was refueling at the port of Aden, Yemen. A small fiberglass speedboat, carrying approximately 1,000 pounds (450 kg) of C4 explosives, approached the ship and detonated a shaped charge near the port side, creating a 40-by-60-foot (12-by-18-meter) gash in the hull. The attack killed 17 U.S. sailors and injured 37 others. The explosion severely damaged the ship’s engineering spaces and galley, where crew members were gathering for lunch.
The attack was carried out by Al-Qaeda operatives, specifically Ibrahim al-Thawar and Abdullah al-Misawa, who died in the blast. The FBI concluded that Al-Qaeda planned and executed the attack, with Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri—a Saudi national—identified as the mastermind. The FBI also found that the explosive device had been reused from an earlier failed attempt to attack another U.S. ship, the USS The Sullivans, in January 2000.
While Iran was not directly responsible for the attack, U.S. courts have ruled that Iran facilitated the attack by providing material and financial support to Al-Qaeda. In 2015, a federal judge found Iran complicit in the bombing due to its support for Al-Qaeda’s Yemen network and logistics through Hezbollah. The U.S. government has ordered Iran to pay damages to victims’ families, though no criminal charges have been filed against Iran for this specific act. The USS Cole was towed to the U.S., repaired in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and returned to active service in 2001.
“I suspect that POTUS has given the order for the entire Inanian navy to be destroyed. 100% eliminated. “
No need to suspect the order was already given it’s been repeated multiple times by multiple people their Navy is going to be gone.
They’ll never spend a cent on beer if I ever meet one.
Grog for the crew, let the celebrations begin. Must have been a happy crew on that sub!
Next time they are in a bar, every sub sailor in the Navy will have been on that submarine!
