"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.

The dumbass in this case is the truck driver and his sidekick. And never mind being in a hurry to help another stinky plane.
The truck driver knew he was going to cross an active runway (4). In spite of getting clearance to cross an active on a taxiway he still has a responsibility to make sure the active is clear. The plane was on final and had touched down, probably going too slow to lift off to jump the truck. The landing lights on that plane are about the brightest things on the planet and were shining RIGHT STRAIGHT DOWN the runway by the time the truck got to the crossing. The driver did not look. He had his head someplace besides crossing an active runway.
An old rule of mine is that when crossing a highway/runway and you don’t see any traffic in either direction you have 15 seconds to get across it. Vehicle speeds 60 mph and up just five you that much time assuming you can see clearly for 1/4 mile or more. This truck driver couldn’t possible have seen anything clearly because HE DIDN’T LOOK. There was an AIRPLANE on his side of the threshold. And the truck did not have 15 seconds to make it——and didn’t. You do not get to bet your life that ground control can see everything you can see. Dam shame we lost a couple pilots who trusted the dumbasses on the ground.

I’m at the point where I don’t even care if the Dems fund DHS or if the Senate GOP pass the SAVE America Act.
If they do, great, but I fully expect Trump will be forced to go the Executive route.
The decision to save the Republic has already been made. Defeat is not an option. This stopped being politics years ago. This is warfare. Trump and the US MIL have already fully committed to dismantling the Deep State and their global assets.
Say the SAVE America Act doesn’t pass. What do you think Trump is going to do? Just throw his hands up and say “we will get ‘em next time”? If the Dems refuse to fund DHS, do you think Trump is just going to sit back and do nothing?
Of course not. Trump is prepared to do this the easy way, or the hard way, but either way, it will be done. The 2026 election will be secure, the Republic will be saved, and the corrupt will be held accountable.
I think Trump has always known he will have to go the Executive route, and all this is just to show the public that he exhausted all avenues before resorting to calling in the Military to secure elections.
