A “vermin infestation” has forced a well-known steakhouse in Marina Del Rey to shut its doors.
Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse — a spot that charges diners more than $70 dollars for a filet and $20 bucks for cocktail was shut down on Feb. 17, according to the Los Angeles County Public Health Department.
During the inspection of the upscale establishment, the health inspectors found several violations. Two of the five violations were categorized as “Major.” The two major violations were for “no insects, rodents, birds or animals present” and “food contact surfaces: clean and sanitized.”
The other violations included equipment storage and structure upkeep … but they were not major issues.
“The results of our latest health inspection do not reflect our commitment to running a clean and safe restaurant. We complied with the health department’s decision to close the restaurant following pest activity confined to a small area of the restaurant and have actively worked with our pest control provider to address the issue,” a rep for the restaurant told The Post.

If the cooks, dishwashers & bussers are illegals or recent “immigrants,” they pry didn’t know any better. The standards are simply lower in 3rd world countries.
A lady named Ruth bought an establishment named Chris Steak house. Hence the name Ruth’s Chris Steak House. The name is more interesting than the food ……

"Once!"
[Chorus]
Living in Marina del Rey
Man you better get a job (Man you better get a job)
Living off the sun and the sea
In Marina del Rey
Below average food and overpriced.

But, who else was in the restaurant as fellow customers?
Maybe like my theory of why Chevron has customers when their price is $1.00 more than the competetor next door.
The high price means ‘undesirables’ don’t go there.
Or the six-legged?
Greasy spoon place, only dirtier and more expensive.
The only time I’ve eaten at a Ruth’s Chris was many years ago - a business dinner that was company paid. Not impressed and haven’t been back - I expected a $50 steak (at that time) to be better than one I can get for $20 at Longhorn, and it wasn’t. I have since eaten at some places where the high price was worth it, but not there.
Why are you showing me a photo of yourself?
If you look at the actual details in the above link it is an encampment along the 90 HWY which does lead into marina del rey eventually but the encampment itself is not inside the limits of MDR
Such a clever response, Charles Covington.
Sorry my friend but posting your selfie here has nothing to do with the conversation at hand
Hush, retread troll.
So you got no response, got it
Not for you, retread troll.
Took you long enough to figure that out, Sparky.
There are homeless bums and vagrants everywhere in MDR. Not sure if you live there but when I was down visiting family (Santa Monica and uncle has a slip in MDR) I couldn’t go ten feet without a beggar.
Yet my presence triggers you so much that you responded to me for no reason in this thread LOL
Keep responding to me, snowflake, I relish every angst filled reply of yours
Show me a dated photo from the last few months, with GPS metadata, and no the 90 HWY does not count
