Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s newly instated radical-left tenant advocate, Cea Weaver, broke down Wednesday as she dodged questions from reporters about her gentrification hypocrisy.
The 37-year-old, who has faced backlash for blasting homeownership as a “weapon of white supremacy” in the past, teared up when she emerged briefly from her apartment building in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, at about 9 a.m.
Weaver, who was tapped by Mamdani to be his new director of the city Office to Protect Tenants, quickly ran back inside after she was asked about the $1.6 million home her mother owns in Nashville, Tennessee.

Do the work. Be unburdened by what gas gone before.
She had/has no idea that people can look her up and find out everything about her ,EVERYTHING

From the article, her undergrad time was spent at Bryn Mawr College, located outside Philadelphia. It is known to be one of the most liberal colleges in the country - right up there with Oberlin, Smith, Ithaca & Sara Lawrence colleges, and Brown, Cornell & UC Berkeley Universities.
Likely had socialist/communist ideals spoon-fed to her since birth by her 2 college-professor parents, and had those reinforced throughout her “acadamic” life-path. This would have virtually assured that such views had never been challenged.

the other advantage of crumbling neighborhoods is that Weaver would have many more choices of non-gentrified neighborhoods to live in, instead of the gentrified neighborhoods she’s apparently forced to live in ...
She talks big for such a little wimp.

Not what a citizen would want as a leader of anything. But common now.
