Suffering from Cabin fever? Let’s dig out some recipe books and make something
really different to eat! If you made something bad, give it to the dogs in the back yard! Think of all the exercise you’ll get trying to convince your dog into coming back home! It’s good exercise, too!
It Really IS! Weird Vintage Recipes! click for link Candles in your cranberry Jello Mold? Sure, why not?

I had some kind of Stollen at a church thing. It was missing rum.

Used to have this in Quebec.

That's the famous Pain Sandwich (or Sandwich au Pain), a festive, layered sandwich cake popular in Quebec, Canada, especially during holidays, made with horizontally sliced bread filled with cream cheese, salmon, and often egg or ham salad, then chilled and sliced into individual portions, essentially a savory "sandwich cake" frosted with cream cheese.

A lot of my family is from Quebec!
I took a friend with me, and traced their journey from
where they landed in Quebec in 1630 on
The Gaspe Peninsula and followed it back to Maine!
That looks delicious, and I will try it for sure!
Thanks so much!

We went to Frankfurt many times when we lived in Germany, and flew in and out of the big Air Force Base there.
My cringiest meal that I saw in Germany was "Steak Tartar". A mound of ground beef with a well in the center to which has been added a raw egg yoke and raw onion. Nasty looking stuff. LOL! And no, neither of us tried it. 🤮
