Now might be the moment to get a table at Tatiana — because everyone has been stranded in paradise by the Venezuela crisis.
Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy closed down airspace around the South American nation Saturday night amid the jaw-dropping operation to seize president Nicolás Maduro, meaning that the commercial flights and private jets that were meant to ferry movie stars, moguls and mega-millionaires back to reality after their New Year’s celebrations were grounded.
We’re told Queen Latifah, Mike Tyson, Ming Lee Simmons, Natalie Portman and party pacha Richie Akiva were among those beached in St. Barts and the surrounding luxury oases.
As Chelsea Handler noted in her monologue at the People’s Choice Awards, Leonardo DiCaprio missed the Palm Springs International Film Awards due to being stuck on St. Barts.

First world problems.
Can we fence it off somehow?

Send lawyers, guns, and money. Oh, and troops to keep them there.

Tough times for all. I’m finding myself impacted as well! Since Trump took office my two tiny 🎻 have been pressed into service so often they’ve wore out completely. The tiny violin maker has advised it will take months to fashion another pair. So much TDS so few violins….
Apparently the cocaine continues to flow.
Come on people. Think of the possibilities. Maduro is in NY facing drug charges. If the drugs stop coming in what good does it do putting him on trial? Think about it.
Saddam Hussein was on trial in front of all the Iraqi people-very public. I say let the everyday Venezuelans make the charges in a public courtroom-cage included.
Send him back there to face trial. How do we do it knowing his supporters will be fighting to find him innocent?
It’s simple. Wait for the people to feel safe enough to speak out. Then let them do the right thing. If he’s found innocent it’s on them. Do you think Trump would care if the public down there wants him back? He’s got other irons in the fire.

That we paid for the films that made them wealthy.
I heard due to supply chain problems the celebs haven’t had avocado toast or even a foil wrapped Godiva chocolate in a long time.

No no no! Just instruct the NY jury to find him innocent. Trump will be off the hook. Then instruct the Venezuelan prosecutors to lawyer up. No need to instruct NY to do anything. They’ll find him innocent so we’ll just have to hold them until they’re ready to deal with business back home.
RE: Apparently the cocaine continues to flow.
They probably have white powder residue on their faces like Al Pacino in Scarface.
In the Martin Scorsese concert film The Last Waltz he had to get a tech crew to digitally remove the film views of the dripping cocaine from Neil Young’s nose in all the scenes onstage where he was on camera. He refused to stop his daily indulgence for the concert filming. His normal nose and upper lip were CGI generated for the movie.
I wonder if they have set up Go Fund Me pages yet?
