Why are her jeans so big?
Heads of State are always uncomfortable when other Heads of State face personal consequences for their actions. They’re perfectly happy sending young men in uniform to slaughter each other ... but you must never directly touch a Head of State.
It’s good to be the king.
Bossy yes.
They need to learn how to cook. The boss has to own that bossiness or they’re out there making some guy very unhappy
I’m a girl. If it’s misogynistic to not want some screeching woman out there invading my home on a Sunday morning then whatever
But just list the theee things on text please
“ Geez, that sounds kinda bossy”
There’s not enough room in my house for 2 bossy women.
But ya. The kids have to cook. When else will they learn
Makes sense.
Like what Trump did,
someones gotta do it .
Good on ya.
Message to American Media on Venezuela CoverageDear American media,
Please stop using these three phrases in your Venezuela coverage because you're not being neutral. You're legitimizing a dictatorship.Listen, I've worked in American media my whole life. I've even published in the New York Times. And yes, they've been one of the outlets getting this wrong. So here's what to stop saying:
"Regime change" makes this sound like Iraq or Afghanistan to the American public.
Use: democratic restoration, constitutional order, a democratic transition, a return to what voters chose.
Speaking French or studying abroad doesn't make someone a moderate.
Delcy Rodríguez is Maduro's VP. She handles the oil and is responsible, along with his power brokers, for one of the biggest refugee crises in our hemisphere and for torturing and imprisoning thousands of innocent people.
If she replaces Maduro, it's not an ouster. It's a reshuffling.
Good advice.
I can confidently say neither I nor immediate family members or extended family members or friends or friends of extended family members ever talk about Venezuela. Sorry, but passed a 24 hour new cycle. Venezuela is usually not a topic of discussion.

“Watch the sauce. Keep stirring it.”

Yes. Well I AM from Long Island. I come by it honestly
There’s a similar rendition in The Godfather. Sonny directs proper sauce making when the cooking is left up to the guys
When I make my good sauce- recipe from nameless northern Italian immigrant fabulous neighbor lady circa 1980

Cease.
I made spaghetti and meatballs yesterday.
My sauce was a jar of Prego.
“ I made spaghetti and meatballs yesterday.
My sauce was a jar of Prego.”
Oh we do that too, Raos, Mutti. But once in a while, this foodie goes in for a can of regulation, certified San Marzano tomatoes and a 3 meat mixture from the butcher.
One pot, everything cooks.
That’s fine
I went to culinary school, I also grew up around a bunch of foodies
We go to chick fil an and also get pizza out. Frozen lasagna and also raid around here
The kids, when they’re interested, get cooking lessons. That’s something that needs to get passed down when the opportunity presents

It’s my microcosm of the Venezuelan Op. yes.
