When the wokeists in the HR departments gained more power than the business sides of corporations then merit disappeared. It happened to me.

For fifty years, the only people it was legal to discriminate against were straight, white males, and discrimination against them was required by law.

It will take generations to undue the damage, if it is even allowed.

In the TV biography of Michael Savage on NewsNation, one of his sons said: “When my father got his degrees no one in the country in academia would hire any white men. No one. So he had to abandon that.”

The quotas for minorities and females were so far from being filled that they would hire practically anyone but a white man. Not even giving them an interview.

Michael Savage (Michael Weiner) has a PhD in Nutritional Ethnomedicine from the University of California, Berkeley, and Master’s degrees in Medical Botany and Medical Anthropology from the University of Hawaii, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Queens College.

In the first half of the 1900's females and blacks thought that they were being picked on. And it was mostly true.

So they took on the mantle of victim. That did not end well.

Following The Great War Italy and Germany thought they got screwed. It was mostly true.

So they took on the mantle of victim. That did not end well.

In the late 1800s the Japanese thought that they were being forcefully dragged into interacting with a world they had no real interest in. It was mostly true.

So they took on the mantle of victim. That did not end well.

In the late 1800s the Irish thought they were being occupied and oppressed. It was mostly true.

So they took on the mantle of victim. That did not end well.

You can oppose an unjust system and that is good. But once you take up the mantle of victim it never ends well.

Executive Order 13583— Establishing a Coordinated Government-wide Initiative to Promote Diversity and Inclusion in the Federal Workforce
EXECUTIVE ORDER

ESTABLISHING A COORDINATED GOVERNMENT-WIDE INITIATIVE TO PROMOTE DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION IN THE FEDERAL WORKFORCE

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, and in order to promote the Federal workplace as a model of equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1. Policy. Our Nation derives strength from the diversity of its population and from its commitment to equal opportunity for all. We are at our best when we draw on the talents of all parts of our society, and our greatest accomplishments are achieved when diverse perspectives are brought to bear to overcome our greatest challenges.

A commitment to equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion is critical for the Federal Government as an employer. By law, the Federal Government’s recruitment policies should “endeavor to achieve a work force from all segments of society.” (5 U.S.C. 2301(b)(1)). As the Nation’s largest employer, the Federal Government has a special obligation to lead by example. Attaining a diverse, qualified workforce is one of the cornerstones of the merit-based civil service.

Prior Executive Orders, including but not limited to those listed below, have taken a number of steps to address the leadership role and obligations of the Federal Government as an employer. For example, Executive Order 13171 of October 12, 2000 (Hispanic Employment in the Federal Government), directed

Spend a day trying to figure out how many H1B visa holders are here in the USA from India soaking up tech jobs. Nobody will give you the real numbers. It is actually orders of magnitude more than the public has been led to believe. It is a financial disaster for millions of unwitting American families.

Been going on a LONG time. In 1973, I applied for a job with the local electric provider. The black HR person told me the next two hires had to be women. This was before anyone had tried suing for reverse discrimination.

Happened to me and a group of male engineers.

We bailed and started our own company. I easily make 4-5X more than the CEO of my old publicly-traded company, and will get a huge whack when I sell the company.

Turn it into an opportunity.

It’s not hard to outperform DEI-driven companies.

If a large share of young men cannot offer stability, fewer marriages occur, fewer births follow, and social trust erodes.

The author treats this as an unintended consequence rather than The Whole Point of this collectivist assault on the American system.

I could tell which DEI hire would last, they came in late, did not call out, didn’t follow procedure, did shoddy work and you had to put up with them until the F-ed with HR.

Over a 15 year period, I would drop hints and tips (right out of the employee handbook) so the DEIers would cop the attitude that HR worked for them and then, eventually they would shove their kicks and the rest of their leg up to the knee cap in to their mouths and would be fired for cause...

I know that at least one may two of the HR ladies know what I was doing.

Awww good times, good times...........

Slightly off topic, I think it is important to note that the institution of marriage is biased against men.

And LBJ's Great Society Programs destroyed the Black family by removing the father from the home.

A society that cannot form families cannot sustain its institutions, its tax base, its civic life, or its future workforce. If we have built a system that blocks a large cohort of men from stable careers, then we should not be surprised when they do not build stable families.

Bears repeating in Large Font.

I've long said "As goes the American Family, so goes America." And for generations we've seen the social and cultural destruction of families which has resulted in the current destruction of America. Including the complete fiscal and economic destruction that will soon be here.

It's not that we have a society that cannot form families; it's just we don't WANT to. In our lifetime we've gone from a society that promoted family values to one which abhors them.
