I haven’t watched them in many years.

Must watch TV? Ha. I ain’t seen their trashy movies in years either. I watched The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence earlier and now it is Red River. A John Wayne doubleheader.

Maybe they should put the swim suit competition back into the rotation. Oh, wait, that’s a different one.

I love to see a bunch of self-serving megalomaniacs pat themselves on their backs in a circle. It means less then nothing to me. I’d rather watch paint dry.
To: Red Badger
Unless Ricky Gervais is hosting, I’ll pass.

Looks like what happened to the Miss America Pageant is happening to the Oscars. From must see TV to I didn’t even know it was on.

Decline? Decline my Royal Irish Arse.
Ascent. It's ascent. Moving from Network TV to Youtube is a big step up.
It portends evern bigger things. With a little work and hustle they will be
on TikTok in no time at all.

Watch the ratings drop further with the move to Youtube.
For what its worth, I only watched bits and pieces over the last ten years. I used to watch more before that.
To: Red Badger
The last time I watched the Academy Awards on TV was when John Wayne won for “True Grit.”

Waiting until 2029?
I’d watch re-runs of even obscure old sitcoms over that drivel.
To: Red Badger
Same thing happened to Miss America and the Indy 500, though that was always a radio event for me, as never went to theater to watch on closed circuit in the heyday.

They can’t do their unhinged, uncensored swear-filled rants at Trump on over the air tv.

I have little interest in entertainment industry awards programs. I have watched TWO in my 69 years on the planet.

The decline of network and cable television continues. They are big losers here.

As long as it doesn’t show up in my algorithm, I’m OK with it.

There’s still good movies being made. They just don’t win any Oscar’s because of the woke, fag, perverted leftists that select the Oscar winners these days.
